Herschel Walker, 59 — the Heisman Trophy winner and Georgia college football legend — tweeted a cryptic video last week suggesting he might enter the Republican primary for a chance to run next year against Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.), the New York Times reports.
The big picture: Former President Trump said in a March 10 statement: "Wouldn’t it be fantastic if the legendary Herschel Walker ran for the United States Senate in Georgia? ... Run Herschel, run!"

Maybe I missed it, have electronic vote and vote counting machines and mail in ballots been outlawed in Georgia or in any other state? Until they have, there will be no secure and honest election results in this country.
Trump has honestly admired Herschel Walker for decades.
Trump hired Walker away from the NFL to his new team in the USFL, the Generals.
Doug Flutie and Herschel Walker were Generals’ teammates in the New Jersey Meadowlands (Giant’s Stadium) back in the day.
Herschel would be probably the last ‘pubbie to go “NeverTrump”. Much more than likely, he only became a Republican in the first place due to Trump’s example and guidance over the years.
Well for fundraising purposes if he is going to run he needs to get going soon...Warnock is really raking in the cash.
