President Joe Biden is teaming with anti-gun advocate George Soros and several other liberal groups in his bid to reduce violent crime by focusing on guns and legal gun sellers.
Included in his plan is hosting meetings over the next 18 months in 15 high-crime cities where Soros’s Open Society Foundation and 12 other pro-gun-control groups will spell out “best practices” to help city leaders with the explosion of violence in their cities.
A scan of the policies of those 13 groups shows that all are anti-gun and, like Biden, blame firearms for violence plaguing some cities.
The list does not include any gun industry groups, notably the National Shooting Sports Foundation, which has several programs to cut crime and stop guns from getting into the wrong hands through straw or other illegal purchases.
The groups Biden chose are proponents of gun registration and bans.
Open Society, for example, has called for a new 1994-style ban on popular semi-automatic sporting rifles.
The move comes as Biden is trying to install an anti-gun advocate from the Giffords organization as the head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Second Amendment advocates predicted that the groups Biden planned to team with would be proponents of gun control and not have any industry representatives.
Soros is a well-known funder of anti-gun groups. Over one 10-year period, for example, he spent nearly $7 million funding them. He has funded at least one other gun control group being tapped by Biden, the Joyce Foundation.

Sorass wants to increase violent crime, thus the reason for him *STATING* he wants to decrease it, and thus this action of taking guns away from those that want to protect themselves from armed criminals.
I still remember the Good Old Days before 1968 when you could walk into any store and buy a gun. No questions asked, no paperwork, no waiting period. Cash and Carry.
You could buy a gun at a grocery store, hardware store, sporting goods store, book store, clothing store, bus station, gas station, farm and ranch store, feed store, and off someone’s kitchen table.
Or you could chose from a magazine advertisement, drop a check in the mail and it would be delivered to your door.
What I recall are kids coming to school with their shotguns mounted in their trucks rear windows.... Nobody even batted an eye...and on school grounds ta boot!

Brings back memories of 1970, when I saw the movie EASY RIDER. I saw it again last night.
I had just put a gun rack in my PU truck back in 1970, when one of my working companions said he did not like people with gun racks in trucks because HIS HEROES in the movie Easy Rider were killed by a man with a gun rack.
I could not believe my ears! I kept the gun rack in the truck till I sold it way back in 1978.
Soros is also funding campaigns for DAs that let the criminals back out to commit more crimes.
They aren’t interested in reducing crime, they just want us disarmed.
Wasn't it Biden that wanted obama to do a buy back guns deal? Or something similar?
Won’t argue with you on that....It wouldn’t suprise me in the least if Soros doesn’t fund arm sales to thugs in the cities either.

I do recall that those who did bring rifles to school had specific parking areas for their vehicles near the Vo-tech classroom.
They can’t buy back what they never owned.
I won’t sell to them anyway, bad risk.
