I imagine veterans who have legitimate needs will be nickeled and dimed about everything and denied help whenever possible “Take this aspirin, go home and die!”, but the red carpet will be rolled out for any trans person who wants to be mutilated.
My father was told the same thing about his aching back. Your depressed, you need anti depressants, your being a baby, its all in your head.. 6 months later he kept falling down and they took him to the hospital. The hospital did their due diligence and found he had stage 4 prostrate cancer and it had spread to his spine.. he died 2 years later.. it could have been different if the VA had bothered to give him a simple PSA blood test. His t count was over 900. The VA needs to spend more more on real problems of our vets, not fairy tails.. ( pun intended)
