People act like I’m crazy when I talk about how these Washington politicians all hang out together, go to dinner together, go to each others’ birthday parties, backyard barbecues, etc. But they really do. With few exceptions, regardless of what kind of show they put on for the cameras or what they say about each other on the campaign trail, they come back to DC and hang out like one big happy family. They’re all pals. We’re suckers for buying their song and dance.

Another thing hidden from public view is the frequent gatherings at DC waterholes with the big donors. That is who they really work for.
People close to me have worked for GOP organizations. I can assure you the party is far from what most people think it is. It doesn’t give a damn about its voters at all. Their attitude toward Trump display SOME of the disdain they have for us.
