Four wild Iran nuclear standoff developments
Jerusalem Post ^ | 6/16/21 | YONAH JEREMY BOB

There have been four wild developments on Wednesday and in recent days which will have major impacts on the future of the Iranian nuclear standoff.

1. Ahmedinejad ‘reveals’ who Mossad recruited within Iranian intelligence to steal nuclear secrets

Former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has told Iran International that the Mossad recruited the highest-ranking Iranian counter-intelligence official in charge of catching Israeli spies in order to steal the Islamic Republic’s nuclear secrets.

The January 31, 2018, raid altered the region’s geopolitics, leading to the US withdrawing from the JCPOA nuclear deal and setting the International Atomic Energy Agency into a years-long conflict with the Islamic Republic that lasts to this day.

Even earlier this month, Iran was nervous that a new condemnation from the IAEA could undermine its chances of reaching a deal with the US to lift sanctions.

Ahmadinejad did not give any specific names, details or proof, seemingly suggesting that there was no way the Israeli spy agency could have succeeded in such an audacious operation without high-up inside help from Tehran’s own spy agencies. Analysts have long speculated about who in Iran the Mossad recruited in order to find out where the nuclear files were held, exactly how to thwart the security measures that were in place and exactly how to burn into the tough file cabinets to procure the files. Though without evidence, Ahmadinejad’s statement is one of the first semi-specific theories offered by any senior officials.

Iran’s intelligence service dismissed Ahmadinejad as deranged and thought such a characterization to be self-serving, because the former president does have an ax to grind against the agency and the ruling class.

Not only did Ahmadinejad fall out of favor with Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei after a dispute with Iran’s intelligence agency, but the ruling class then disqualified him from running in the last two elections, including one scheduled for June 18. Ahmadinejad’s interview could be a way to get revenge as well as being an attempt to present himself to the Iranian public as a patriot who is being silenced from telling the truth.

So, who knows the truth in Ahmadinejad’s interview.

It makes a lot of sense and by Occam's Razor a conclusion of at least partial truth. There is an Iranian patriot who revealed to Israeli agents the location of the surreptitiously captured hoard of Iranian nuclear files

The statement seems to be vindictive ass covering that is precipitating a cascade of ass covering in the Iranian power structure.

The other three wild events are not nearly as delicious as the first

There have been all kinds of things blowing up, catching on fire and sinking in Iran since the most recent Israeli-Hamas conflict. Wonder how that is happening? (rhetorical)

A Hiroshima-style (inefficient, dirty, heavy, large BUT simple and easy-to-build, no-testing-required, no Plutonium needed) nuclear bomb only needs sufficient U235 to go critical. About 60 kg, depending on whose “unclassified” web site you want to believe. (Frankly, I would believe none of them, but I’m not going to do those reactivity calculations for the Iranians...)

Regardless, only enriched U235 is required. A 6-8 inch cannon barrel. A detonator. A shipping container.

The Obama-Biden-Harris administration is determined to give Iran permission and the money to continue enriching Uranium well-past ANY civilian reactor need. A civilian nuclear power plant only needs 3% enrichment to critical, 3-5% to maintain criticality for years of power production.

Iran DEMANDS they be “permitted” to go to 23% enrichment levels - Levels ONLY needed to for weapons production as feed material for going to 60-80% enrichment. (Once your enrichment process is capable of getting the gasses to 10%, the only thing needed is more passes through the centrifuges. That’s it. After that first gas gets to 10% enrichment, you need nothing else but time (without a monitor checking EVERY centrifuge, testing EVERY sample made every hour of EVERY lab) to keep running the centrifuges.)

Now, Israel IS the first target for Iranium bombs. The United States cities are the second target.

Imagine the “international tension” raised if Israel merely states: “The first nuclear bomb that explodes over Jerusalem, will be followed by a second nuclear bomb exploding over Mecca. And the third will explode over Medina. “

Anyone in that nation working with Massad, or speaking out against the regime, knows what can happen to them and their families.

We here in our own country are seeing the same tactics beginning to start here, just look at the 450 people held in solitary.

And not a peep from most of the politicians and media, they should be screaming about it 24/7.

Contact your local trough feeder and let them have it.

Israel and the US aren't the countries that Iran wants to threaten with nuclear weapons, they're just the countries that have the means and (depending upon the administration) will to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. The real strategic goal for Iran is for Iran to become more influential than the Saudis.

Strangely, I think the Obama administration trying to help the Iranians with the Iran deal was the spark that brought the Saudis and other Gulf Arabs to the negotiating table with the Israelis. Before the Obama administration, the Saudis felt safe relying on America to have its back if a conflict with Iran ever occurred. Who knows what will be possible after another four years of that same Iran-coddling mindset.

Excellent last paragraph from RAC, PE.
But WHY would the Israelis say it out loud? Why would they box themselves into that path?
They are smarter than that IMO.

The mere fact that Ahmadinejad lives says a great deal about what is going on inside Iran and inside Mossy.

"Imagine the “international tension” raised if Israel merely states: “The first nuclear bomb that explodes over Jerusalem, will be followed by a second nuclear bomb exploding over Mecca. And the third will explode over Medina."

Ok but the actual targets will be the nuke facilities outside Teheran, PAEC Islamabad where critical parts were acquired, and Pyongyang where the cannon-shot plans have been perfected for sale.

What you say seems to me partially true.

Trump legitimized the secret, surreptitious, meetings of the coalition to come out in the open. Years ago, Saudi Arabia was said to authorize IAF overflights to strike Iran. I believe The Abraham Accord coalition has been operating in extreme secrecy for years.

Trump’s first trip was to Riyadh where the Arab world was put on notice that there would be serious change. That was a world history changing event

Israel is peanuts compared to Mecca and the wealth represented by the tallest building in the world in Dubai. All that GCC wealth makes the mullah’s drool at the prospect.

American cities = fewer democrats. Iran threatening to do the job that the democrats abortion policies hasn’t..... Maybe a republican president would let some cities burn just so we can be justified in the counter-strike. The people who vote democrat dance with the devil so they might as well join him.

The Iranians would sail one into a U.S. port.

I can think of at least 4 they’d try to hit. 🎯 - you can bet they’ve already gamed in the scenarios.

The detection equipment will sound the alarm too late.

IMHO

Nonsense! This is a guaranteed deal. Just don't forget the 10% for the "Big Guy."
