It’s not easy money.

I live in Florida - our cops are hard working and respected by our citizens. I’m also proud of DeSantis for being the first Governor to step up to help Texas with the runaway illegal problems. We’re there to help Texas and we’re there because cartel filth runs their drugs into North Florida.

This is easy to understand..

It’s sick that democrats/commies don’t give a damn about anything unless it’s happening in DC or DC’s VERY wealthy surrounding gated communities.

Hopefully other red states will step up to help Texas until citizens can re-elect President Trump. And American will once again be first...

New Orleans-Katrina. I heard stories where people were shot and the issue was covered up. It was an unspoken martial law. Cops didn’t mess around. I heard it from a one. Drury Hotel. Their breakfasts were top notch-all on the Louisiana dime. That plus they were off the books-not subject to their rules back home. Herd mentality for profit. There will always be volunteers to help out when the SHTF.

Those from Central America and Mexico grew up around the equator. It’s nothing new to them.

New Orleans-Katrina. I heard stories where people were shot and the issue was covered up.

Some NBC news hack said he saw a body floating by his hotel... Brian Williams was demoted for that lie. During Katrina I called a friend - a chief of police of one of Florida's largest police forces and asked why Florida cops weren't helping out. He said New Orleans had been called - told cops were suited up, packed and ready to go - with 40 or so minutes notice... He also said cops could not function in another city without being 'invited'... (that's against the law)... So if you heard of Florida cops in New Orleans during that time I sure would like to know what city they came from...

Sometimes I wonder half jokingly is there any one just one good person in DC to keep God from striking the city to oblivion?

They’re used to the heat and humidity. In the desert it’s just dry heat. Dry heat isn’t too bad once you climatize.

Quite a few summers in Iraq taught me that. I’ll take 110-120 in the desert over 100 deg with 100% humidity, all day, every day.

I’m also in south Florida. Some my best friends are cops. They are government workers. Very inefficient. I get so sick of “conservatives” dumping on government workers, who don’t get paid till you and I provide a service and are taxed for it, but the government workers get a pass if they are “first responders”, or military. Yes we need cops. Yes we need and ha e a wonderful military. But dammit boy, they waste a lot of money, and the corruption? Holy crap. Firemen are right up there with the cops. Few government workers in any field could do whatever it is that you or I do to generate their pay. That includes the “first responders”. Really really bad in rural areas like Mount Juliet Tennessee where the police chief is a affirmative action hire. But here in Lee County Florida let me tell you they spend your tax money like you wouldn’t believe for easy easy gigs takes five or six of them to pull over an old lady with a burned out and turn signal light. Don’t get me started on certain bodies of water where there are at least seven law-enforcement entities to be dealt with by commercial fisherman. Coast Guard Fort Myers police leecountysherriff fish and wildlife services etc. etc. you keep naming them they all have boats better than yours and they are cruising around making easy money and trying to generate income even more than you already pay in taxes

It’s hot as hell down in the border regions right now. No rain since Noah got on his ship.

Easy money? What a joke. The Mexican border in Texas is not exactly a cruise ship. And drug cartels are well armed.
