BREA, Calif. - A California doctor who tested positive for COVID-19 months after receiving the vaccine shares a warning about breakthrough cases with the public.
It had been about six months since Dr. Eugene Choi got the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. But right now, the Los Angeles-based radiologist is in quarantine fighting off the virus he thought he wouldn't get.
"Even when I think about it today, it's crazy," Choi said. "I can't believe I have COVID."
His wife also tested positive for the virus, also happening months after she was fully vaccinated.
The positive test result left Choi with a lot of unanswered questions about the protection the COVID-19 vaccine really offers.
"It was very surprising that I got it and got sick from it," he said. "But on top of that, I gave it to her and she also got sick from it. So this is not a fluke."

This week’s data for 12- to 17-year-olds show:
5,367 total adverse events, including 165 rated as serious and four reported deaths among 12 to 17-year-olds. The youngest deaths reported include two 15-year-olds (VAERS I.D. 1187918 and 1242573), a 16-year-old (VAERS I.D. 1225942) and one 17-year-old (VAERS I.D. 1199455).
773 reports of anaphylaxis among 12- to17-year-olds with 98% of cases attributed to Pfizer’s vaccine, 1.8% to Moderna and 0.5% (or four cases) to J&J.
59 reports of myocarditis and pericarditis (heart inflammation) with 58 attributed to Pfizer’s COVID vaccine.
16 reports of blood clotting disorders, all attributed to Pfizer.
This week’s total VAERS data, from Dec. 14, 2020 to June 4, 2021, for all age groups show:
20% of deaths were related to cardiac disorders.
51% of those who died were male, 45% were female and the remaining death reports did not include gender of the deceased. The average age of death was 74.5.
As of June 4, 2,012 pregnant women reported adverse events related to COVID vaccines, including 666 reports of miscarriage or premature birth.
Of the 3,211 cases of Bell’s Palsy reported, 53% were reported after Pfizer vaccinations, 42% following vaccination with the Moderna vaccine and 253 cases, or 8%, of Bell’s Palsy cases were reported in conjunction with J&J.
310 reports of Guillain-Barré Syndrome with 45% of cases attributed to Pfizer, 41% to Moderna and 21% to J&J.
92,929 reports of anaphylaxis with 41% of cases attributed to Pfizer’s vaccine, 50% to Moderna and 9% to J&J.
5,907 reports of blood clotting disorders. Of those, 2,482 reports were attributed to Pfizer, 2,017 reports to Moderna and 1,367 reports to J&J.
Well, using experimental drugs means they sometimes won’t work as hoped.

Friends healthy 39 year old son in law died last week of a heart attack shortly after taking the jab. Father of 4.
Ohhhh..how sad is that. Four kids will suffer and never get over this loss..you never do.
Either way, I wish she had not taken the experimental jab.

Both vaccinated. Both got two shots. Both got Covid again many months after vaccination.
What are the odds?
A “vaccine” that may or may not work against a disease that has a very low morbidity and mainly affects the elderly with underlying conditions.
It was summed up another way to me once. Suppose you’re a young women and a Dr said he could give you a shot so you’d never get pregnant because you never want to get pregnant. Only stipulations are you still need to take the pill, your partner still needs to wear a condom and you’ll need booster shots every once in awhile.
Would you take the shot?
The Pfizer vaccination is only creating spike proteins that resemble CV19 to stimulate the immune system response. But it’s not the same thing. There is no one size fits all vaccine, so in a good percentage of the population, they are not going to get quite the right results. It could have been much worse.
