Roy introduces bill blocking Chinese Communist Party members from buying US land

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) is introducing a bill on Friday aimed at blocking members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from buying land in the United States.

Although the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States does review some attempts by foreign entities to buy land in the country, the bill would completely stop CCP members from buying either public or private land in the U.S.

The bill, called the Securing America's Land from Foreign Interference Act, is being introduced by Roy along with Reps. Lance Gooden (R-Texas), Ken Buck (R-Colo.) and Randy Weber (R-Texas).

"In their quest for global domination, China has been buying up land and strategic infrastructure all over the world and in the United States," Roy said.

Shouldn’t let them even come here.

This will also stop the screaming appreciation of land values everywhere.

Which are being driven by this.

Americans cannot own land in China. The ChiComs should be prohibited from buying land here.

It should go beyond the Chinese.

I don’t know about that.

I am in Vietnam, and was (very) pleasantly surprised how friendly the Vietnamese are, and how anti-Chinese they all are, except for those who are Vietnamese-Chinese of course.

Stick with blocking Chinese, in my view (I have been here for five years now)

Note: please be aware I was in China very early. For several years.

China and Taiwan, both.

Vietnam is entirely different, in my view. Neutral and balanced. They are basically fundamentally opposed to China, to the extent that China acts superior (and that seems to be most of the time now)

Vietnam can be very friendly with America, if we are friendly with them.

In my view.

I thought they were anti Chinese, even when I was in Vietnam, back in the 70s.

Vietnamese have a (long) history with China,

Like a thousand years worth.

The two countries share a pretty long land border, and Vietnam actually fought against China, a while ago.

I think the two won’t fight again, now that China is nuclear, but I also do not anticipate China to invade.

Vietnam is not a good country, for invasions.

7 1/2 minute video on that subject.
Comments & suggestions solicited. If you don’t hear back, I’ll most likely be in custody or at Kamp Kamala...waiting my turn in the showers!

Too late for NYC. The Chinese have been buying up Queens, Brooklyn, probably Manhattan as well. As soon as a house or co-op came up on the market in Queens, the only buyers that showed up were Chinese. Paying cash, sometimes with grocery bags full of greenbacks. The CCP used the Chinese churches as money laundering centers and thus people had a quarter million to go buy a co-op in Queens for cash.

The only way you will successfully do that is to ban shell companies and trusts that are set up for the purpose of obscuring ownership from owning property. If nobody knows who owns real estate how can you possibly enforce a law like this? They will just get sneakier.

China has about five times America’s population, and is growing (much) faster. The two countries are almost equal in size. But there is s terrible difference in the rights the two peoples have, in the two countries.

We give Chinese free reign. China is very closed, about rights, very not free. And we run MASSIVE trade deficits, every single year. For DECADES. Both American political parties are 100% sold out.

China is completely united.

If we don’t stop it, America will cease to be independent.

Pretty quickly, in my view.

Really.

The Chicoms are interested in winning... DC's interested in lining the pockets of their worthless offspring... Hunter's not the only one...
