The FDA has never determined the vaccines are “safe.”
They are approved only on an “emergency” basis pending more research.
That is true and why the term I used is “safe enough”. EUA is granted after, supposedly, a weighing of the known and potential benefits versus the known and potential risks. I assume the FDA thinks for former outweighs the latter.
