An ongoing disagreement between a major Houston hospital’s management and its nursing staff continues. Houston Methodist Hospital is requiring that all staff be vaccinated against COVID-19, with the exceptions of religious objection or health. Staffers were told to get the vaccinations or they no longer have jobs at the hospital.

A corporation cannot make hiring and firing decisions dependent on your race, religion, ethnicity, age, sex, or sexual orientation because federal law does not allow that. But the last time I checked anti-vaxers are not a protected class under any anti-discrimination laws I'm aware of.

Yes, my Christian faith prohibits me from any vaccinations derived from aborted fetal cells. I also believe gene therapy is wrong. Otherwise, I would consider some vaccines
so many were fired for not having the vax that there are whole units and departments within the hospitals that are, shut down because no one to staff them. Apparently the CEO had no idea how many were not vaxed.

Test for infectiveness instead, say once a week. If they’re positive send them home without pay.
Could exempt the vaccinated from testing since they are about 95% loess likely to spread the disease.
