Sounds like hooking up with the Borg.

Imagine

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one

We are told that is must be a conspiracy theory (and not evidence of a criminal conspiracy).

“Why that would take many people to pull off.”
^^^
THIS after YEARS of coordination by the FBI, CIA, and others to take down President Trump with fraudulent FISA applications, spies, and false witness to Congress.

“but you really think there was a CONSPIRACY to remove him from office?”

99% of the time I read someone saying something along the lines of “History teaches....” I can be assured I will hear both terrible ‘history’ and execrable ‘teaching’.

Complex events have complex causes. While Truman was right in saying “The only thing new is the history you don’t already know”, that more refers to analysis than prediction.

Regards

“....last truly elected US President, John F. Kennedy.....”

Truly elected by Mayor Daley & Lyndon Johnson corrupting the voting in Chicago & Texas ! Oh yeah Kennedy got his boost over Hubert Humphrey in the WV primaries by his father buying off WV county sheriffs to look the other way while whiskey & walking-around money was handed out in the WV Democrat primary. (I remember that well being a kid at the time!)This is all now acknowledged by historians.

Shhhh ...These Kennedy Cultists.

Kennedy was a mediocre senator and an average president. Not the Second Coming !

You folks are missing something. Rome was pretty mean. So we’re the Brits. They invented racism. Look how Franco held Spain together and Tito in the Balkins. They were pretty ruthless. Do we have it in us to be like Pinochet? Is there a happy medium where you don’t have to kill your opponents as the left is more than willing to do? Not with the leftists here having the upper hand. It’s too easy to look at a discrepancy and then make an issue of it so that it’s overwhelming. Think COVID, racism, income inequality, global warming. All fit into one convenient pool. Perhaps we should do more to have them fight amongst themselves.

Has this writer ever written a paragraph with more than two sentences?

I stopped reading after seeing “American Imperialism” a few times. Any such reference tilts the authors hands to their perception of the USA. We do not have an Empire.

We do have an empire and it’s based on that phrase American exceptionalism. Even if we had no influence jealousy would not allow others to accept our status as the premier country in the world-at least for now.

"last truly elected US President, John F. Kennedy."
JFK became President because the Chicago Daley Machine cheated the vote and threw Illinois to the Democrats.

Perhaps historians will look back and say that September 11, 2001 marks the sacking of the American Empire.

No. The fall began in 1913.

“The nation state aims to bind massive numbers of people in a territory together with myths of common cause, culture, and patriotism. This allows a single government to extract much more revenue and build much bigger armies. And this large scale government rose with the industrial era, because countries required large scale armies to defend the industrial production in a given area.”

This Gen Z writer pretends to know something about history and extrapolate future events from it. But he knows nothing, and is ignorant of any real history. And we have a bunch of freepers eating it up becaus3e they don’t know history either. It is both sad, and worthy of ridicule.

Ridicule is the lazy man's argument. How about you actually refute it?
