The source has got to be some of the very early reporting (early as in 1990) in the popular science press regarding the incredible potential of using synthetic mRNA as a therapeutic for a vast range of conditions, including, but not limited to some cancers.
The enthusiasm dampened when early in vivo testing showed a massive inflammatory response in mouse models to ‘foreign’ mRNA injected into living animals. That was almost 30 years ago, and what gets skipped over is the Nobel-worthy work by Katalin Karikó that made the initial promise a reality. An amazing story.
Granted, this piece does not describe the nature of the vaccine that was the subject of the patent application, but it’s probably a safe bet that it wasn’t an mRNA technology.
The early date is suspicions, as is the way that the researcher was disappeared, as is the on-going stonewalling of the lab-leak hypothesis by the CCP.
This is not dispositive, but it’s another piece of evidence to add to the growing pile showing the CCP’s culpability.
Oh yes, there is mucho BS being thrown around. I would probably be squarely pro-vax except for the uncertainty factor—we simply haven’t had a lot of time to see the effects of the new vaccines. I have family members who decided to get vaxed and I respect their decisions, but I’m in such a low risk category that I think I’m going to wait and see. One thing I wish we had more info about is “long covid” where people have lingering serious problems. It would be nice to know more about the nature of these incomplete recoveries and how often they’re happening.
