The new White House science adviser wants to have a vaccine ready to fight the next pandemic in just about 100 days after recognizing a potential viral outbreak.
In his first interview after being sworn in Wednesday, Eric Lander painted a rosy near future where a renewed American emphasis on science not only better prepares the world for the next pandemic with plug-and-play vaccines, but also changes how medicine fights disease and treats patients, curbs climate change and further explores space. He even threw in a “Star Trek” reference.
“This is a moment in so many ways, not just health, that we can rethink fundamental assumptions about what’s possible and that’s true of climate and energy and many areas,” Lander told The Associated Press.

Why push for vaccines at the expense of efficacious, affordable treatments that lead to NATURAL IMMUNITIES?
The only reasons to chase the vaccine path is MONEY and POWER.
We are caught up in that mess, right now. Effective treatments have been pushed aside because no one was going to get rich off them.
Instead, we are nearly force-marched to the needle to be injected with experimental vaccines that may well be permanently damaging our DNA. We are dictated to by junior Napoleans about our life and lifestyle.

Because of sickness Ellis island had a quarantine hospital on site. If someone was sick they held the passengers on the island till you got well or died, but they tried to keep sickness from the general population. There needs to be the same quartering for planes coming from infected countries everyone gets checked then if they are clear let them go. This includes the private planes. didn’t Tom hanks et al. fly to Australia on a private plane and be found to have COVID and be on lockdown? No gimmies, no excuses, no money, or egos with incoming quarantine procedures.
