2016 repeat?

“Christie was a candidate for the Republican 2016 presidential nomination.[3] On June 30, 2015, Christie made his announcement at Livingston High School, which he graduated from in 1980.[4] After placing sixth in the New Hampshire primary, Christie suspended his presidential campaign on February 10, 2016.[5]

An analysis of Republican governors by Nate Silver of the New York Times in April 2013 ranked Christie as the least conservative GOP governor in the country.[6]”

He cannot beat President Trump at anything, apart from eating too much.

Defer to him or lose to him. Your choice.

Christi really believes that he has a chance at being the president?

Then he is more delusional than Joe Biden.

I'm sure all of Trump's Republican supporters will gladly throw their hat in the ring and back his fat a** up.

I see Christie and Kamala in sort of the same light. He’s a failed politician. She’s a failed politician. She couldn’t hack it being a lawyer, neither could Christie. His arrogance knows no bounds, neither does Kamala’s. His absurdly over weight body defines him. Kamala’s moral history defines her. Lastly, neither could win an honest election for President.

Cheeseburger christy has no chance, for anything other than a massive heart attack.

Chris Christie is a stalking horse for the GOPe. His candidacy is designed to hurt Trump in PA & NJ.

Oh I know. Say the most microscopic thing against Trump and she’s a commie.

Don’t presume. Or assume.

Oh Christie has no chance. I’m just saying it would be silly to defer to an elderly candidate.

Good reply.

Christie has no chance but that isn’t a reason to defer.

People are “seething” less because of Christie and more because they are overly devoted to Trump. Never mind that Trump will be as old as Biden is.

To ensure a dem win (regardless of election cheating), I’ll bet at least one (probably more) of these RINO clowns will run in the 2024 General as an Independent just to keep Trump, or a Trump supported candidate, from being President.

“he should be his own man and do it, and not just bow to someone else in an open primary like that scam the Dems had in 2016”

The problem is, 2024 will not be any ordinary primary. Trump was re-elected in 2020 and the seat was stolen from him, and from the people. Any Republican who recognizes that fact, should, I think, tread lightly if Trump decides to run in 2024.

Americans are very big on justice, and people getting what they deserve, and when you win a Presidential election with a record number of votes, you deserve to serve that term. Any Republican who decides to stand in the way if Trump wants to claim what he deserves is basically declaring themselves an impediment to righting that wrong.
