The Reason Hamas Gives For The Rocket Attacks Are Based on a Lie

Israel is on the brink of war with the terrorist group Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip. This past week, Hamas launched more than 1,600 rockets into Israel — most of which got intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome — after a violent confrontation between Israeli police and Palestinian rioters at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, the Temple Mount, near the third-holiest site in Islam. The rioters had protested the eviction of Palestinians who have not paid rent for living on land allegedly owned by Israelis. The riot broke out just before Israel’s Supreme Court could decide the issue.

Hamas has claimed that the evictions constitute “aggression” against the Palestinian residents in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. Activists in the United States have echoed this claim, with some describing the evictions as an act of “settler-colonialism.”

In truth, it seems Hamas has orchestrated unrest — an unrest that appears to be escalating toward war — because the Palestinians are likely to lose their legal fight, and for good reasons.

“If the aggression against our people in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood does not stop immediately, we will not stand idly by,” Mohammad Deif, a leader of Hamas’s armed wing, warned last week, The Times of Israel reported.

“There’s no denying the reality: This is Zionist settler colonialism, where if one settler does not take our homes, another settler will,” Miriam Barghouti, a Palestinian researcher, and Rutgers professor Noura Erakat wrote in a Washington Post op-ed on the Sheikh Jarrah dispute. “When will the world open its eyes to this injustice and respond appropriately? We do not need more empty both sides-isms, we need solidarity to overcome apartheid.”

Reps. André Carson (D-Ind.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) also condemned the evictions, claiming they represent a “direct violation of international law, the Geneva Convention

We’ve seen any number of these “big lie” strategies launched and played out over the last few decades. Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Russia Russia Russia, Ukrainian Collusion, the January 6th Insurrection, are but a few of them. They are based on a falsehood, repeated and magnified by an immersive media oligarchy, and used to manipulate public opinion on a world-wide scale. Effectively a malignant form of the concept of virtual reality. Nothing new really, I guess. The Nazis did it with anti-Jewish propaganda, and it has grown in scope, speed, and destructive power since then.

Israel should very carefully craft, then give an ultimatum to the Muslim world.

The mosques in Saudi Arabia, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem are both managed by the radical Wahhabi Sect, which also runs most of the madrassas schools in Pakistan that train most terrorists.

Well, every now and then, the Saudi Wahhabis get too big for their britches and get ambitious about overthrowing the Saudi monarchy. But the Saud have a great counter to this: that unless the Wahhabi settle down, they will be stripped of their management of the mosques and holy sites, and these will be given to the currently far less violent Sufi Sect.

Radical Muslims, especially Wahhabis, hate the Sufis as much as they hate the idea of losing all the money flowing into the mosques and holy sites. And they are terrified of losing the prestige and money.

So this is what Israel should do as well. First thing is to nationalize the Al-Aqsa Mosque. And second is to tell the Wahhabis managing it to stop making trouble or they will be stripped of the management, which will then be offered to the Sufi sect.

There is zero solidarity there, so the Sufi would be more than willing to do this.

This is not an easy job for the Wahhabis, as not only could they no longer make trouble, they would have to break the heads of foreign radicals wanting to make trouble as well.

This suggestion to Israel is a much more peaceful option, because otherwise the mosque would have to be razed. Now while many people prefer that option, it would almost certainly lead to war.

Well as long as these animals love to hate and cause violence this isn’t going to stop. They ‘raise’ people to hate and fight!

It seems like every ten years or so Israel confronts its enemies both foreign and domestic. It uses its power to quash the opponents, but it does so in such a feckless fashion that it allows the regeneration of its opposition. Its as thought the North quits the civil war after taking Atlanta.
If you are going to destroy your enemy Bibi, this time do it once and for all and to hell with the Democrats and the New York Times.

There is no solution except the death of the leadership of Hamas or Israel and thus the death of a nation. Israel will not die!

Odd is it not that 21 percent of Israel is Arab and they vote and have representation in the Kinnest by Muslim Arabs and not one Jew is in the goverment of Gaza nor the Palestinian portion of the West Bank?

You say, “You’ll never destroy Hamas nor the others like them.” Then explain why there was no significant Islamist movement from the 16th to the late 20th century.

Thanks but why not actually include the reason why it is based upon a lie, rather than just copying the preface?

...In 1956, the government of Jordan, in cooperation with the United Nations Relief Works Association (UNRWA), arranged for the housing of 28 Palestinian refugee families in the area of the abandoned homes in the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood. Jordan built new apartments and the families leased the homes, paying a nominal rent. After Egypt closed the Straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping in 1967 — which Israel considered an act of war — Israel advanced into Gaza and the West Bank, retaking the entirety of Jerusalem in the Six-Day War. The administrator-general in Israel’s Justice Ministry took control of the property in the area. The Jewish trusts that purchased the land back in 1876 requested the areas be returned to them. In 1972, Israel accepted their claims, and ownership of the disputed area was transferred to the trusts in the Land Registry. In 1982, the Jewish trusts requested the removal of 23 Arab families that had stayed in the Shimon Hatzadik area. The trusts reached an agreement with the families: the descendants of refugees recognized the ownership of the trusts in exchange for the status of protected tenants. The families gained long-term rental rights and agreed to pay rent to the owners. Yet the trusts have claimed that no rents have been paid since the agreement, and that tenants have made renovations and alterations to the buildings without a permit. In addition, the trusts claimed the tenants had damaged and sought to destroy structures of the old Jewish neighborhood, including the synagogue.

Since Monday, Israel has sustained 2,800 rocket attacks from Gaza with larger warheads and extended ranges. Four million Israelis are now in the range of Hamas rockets. So far, 430 Palestinian rockets have fallen short, landing inside Gaza. Hamas is not only murdering Israeli civilians, but also innocent Gazans. Naturally, Hamas blames the deaths on Israel, rolling the numbers into the tally they provide.
