The Covid Vaccine doesn’t prevent infection. Although your chances are 95% less than an unvaccinated person.
Covid vaccines prevent getting very sick to the point of needing hospitalization.
And dyeing.
If a vaccinated person gets infected chances of them needing hospitalization is roughly 1,000,000 to 1.
Roughly 1 in 100 unvaccinated people that get infected will die.
So Bill Maher, New York Yankees shortstop Gleber Torres, and Golden State Warriors Damien Lee have tested positive for Covid-19 after being fully vaccinated. So after 1 year of a Pandemic was declared by the WHO, roughly 10% (33.02 million ) of the USA population has tested positive for Covid. If there are 9,000 individuals who still tested positive after over 90 million of these people are fully vaccinated, then the vaccine has an efficacy rate of about 32.99 million/33 million = 99.9%. Damien Lee has said he feels headaches so one probably still needs to wear masks despite what the CDC said today (May 13, 2021).
Should have worn 2 masks.

The test is for presence of the viral RNA. It is independent of having the disease or not.
The disease is an acute severe respiratory syndrome.
He does not have that and did not test positive for that.
