In a statement Wednesday, Donald Trump offered a tongue-in-cheek rejection of comparisons between President Biden and Jimmy Carter — saying Biden is in fact even worse.
"I see that everybody is comparing Joe Biden to Jimmy Carter. It would seem to me that is very unfair to Jimmy Carter," Trump said. "Jimmy mishandled crisis after crisis, but Biden has created crisis after crisis."
In recent weeks, Republicans have compared Biden to Carter, who is viewed, particularly among Republicans, as an ineffective president whose travails ultimately caused him to lose reelection to Ronald Reagan.

As humorous as it is, Trump is making a legitimate point: Carter mishandled crises, Biden is creating them, then mishandling them. Still, let’s not take anything away from just how awful Carter really was.

I put Biden equal to Carter and feel the damage done by Obama exceeds both...so far. Some didn't live through the 22%+ inflation under Carter or his 21% prime interest rate days. New mortgages were 15%. If Biden continues down his stated path, he will pass even Obama in terms of long term destruction. Indeed, The Deep State is so entrenched, this Republic is in name only now.
Biden is off to a really horrible start. For long-term damage, Obama and Clinton had longer to do damage. Clinton ended up inflicting a lot a cultural damage, but not as much economic and foreign policy damage as Carter. Obama was a disaster on all fronts. I agree, Biden shows signs of being the worst ever in all areas. He will not finish a term; not that Harris would be an improvement.
I think Biden is off to being worse than Obama and Carter. he’s taken something that was working and broken it completely. From the border, to the economy, to jobs.
Stagflation under the carter years will be the good ol’ days once he’s done...unless the GOP can win in two years and force him to stop it.
As usual, President Trump is absolutely right. Carter had terrible ideas and plans that went sideways every which way they could. But he had ideas and plans.
Biden has no ideas, has no plans, and doesn’t seem to have a clue what he’s doing day to day. The result is a mishmash of conflicting messages and policies which have created nothing but confusion and problems. It’s like he’s trying to make the outside world match what’s going on inside his melting brain.
Killing the Keystone Pipeline on his first day told me to buckle up for a rough ride. It’s hard to understand why he would kiss off 11,000 jobs...8,000 of them union jobs...so quickly. But, always follow the money, especially with the Bidens. A big donor to Biden was Warren Buffet. Guess who has the only rail line to the ND oil fields that can take that oil to the refineries? The pipeline would have killed that rail line.
Obama fueled blm and encouraged and enabled them. The damage from those domestic terrorists is into the billions, with no end in sight. He and his ilk, Jarrett, Rice etc, have encouraged a new KKK, some call the klan with a tan. The domestic terrorists blm have taken up right where thr KKK .eft off, attac,ing and even murdering people at don’t stand with them, destroying people’s lives and dreams and businesses, and property, taking over neighborhoods terrorizing residents there, etc etc etc. This all began I. Earnest under Obama and his ilk who turned a blind eye to the crimes being committed by the blm domestic terrorists. Thy are trying their best to enslave white folks to make them pay for being white. And they are succeeding. Not to the extent of actual slavery as in the past, but mental captivity and domination.
If white folks don’t toe the line with these terrorists, they will cancel whitey, get them fired, terrorize them.
We are witnessing a hostile takeover error of our country, which Obama and ilk fomented under his term. He emboldened liberal mayor’s and governors to protect the terrorists while arresting the victims.
Biden is bad, but I thi k the damage Obama and ilk did is over the top. Biden and his handlers of course are now running with the plan that was laid out and implemented, just remains to be seen how bad things will get

I think it is Obama and enterage jarrett and rice that is doing all this behind the scenes. They simply put executive orders in front of Biden to sign and he obeys.

Carter served in the USN, and I don’t know about now but at the time I’m sure you needed brains to do that.
Trump is absolutely correct. I was never a Carter fan, but it is an insult to Jimmy Carter to be compared to Joe Biden. Carter was smart and no one ever doubted his patriotism.
