Pence sparks more 2024 speculation by headlining event in early primary state

Former Vice President Mike Pence will headline a major GOP fundraising dinner in New Hampshire, in a move sparking speculation of a 2024 run for president.

Pence will headline the Hillsborough County GOP’s annual Lincoln-Reagan awards dinner in Manchester, New Hampshire, the state that holds the first presidential primary in the nation. The move comes after Pence gave his first address since leaving office in South Carolina, the first southern state to vote in presidential primaries and the third state overall on the nominating calendar.

"We've got to guard our values ... by offering a positive agenda to the American people, grounded in our highest ideals," Pence said in his South Carolina speech. "Over the coming months, I'll have more to say about all of that."

Pence also promised to spend more time "pushing back on the liberal agenda” of President Joe Biden in the coming months, saying Biden’s plans are wrong for the country.

The Establishment’s Chosen Candidate to lose, so Biden/Harris can have a second term ... the new Bob Dole

so, expect him to be heavily promoted on CNN as “the only responsible choice for Republicans”

No one doubts he’s running, but he needed Trump to win to even have a chance at the nomination.

He speaks in cliches. He would have no chance against anyone, like Trump, who speaks plainly.

Ron DeSantis in 2024. Let Pres. Trump operate in the background. He has too much baggage to return to the WH.

DeSantis has proven who he is. I would support him as Trump’s VP, or even as you say, the front runner if Trump bows out.

This guy has no clue. It will be funny to watch him stand at the edge of the stage, even further out than where Kasich would have stood.

Even if PDJT does not run again, I will not be voting for pence. I am over voting for the lesser of two evils. If there is a different viable candidate, I will consider them but, not pence.

I actually liked Pence as he NEVER undercut Trump, at least before the election.

As to after, the election was LONG OVER by Jan 6, the time to speak up was in November, early December at the latest...at least as far as I’m concerned.

As for 2024, regardless, Pence, like Kristi Noem, Nikki Haley and Cruz, can make noises about running, but if Trump runs, it’s his. If Trump doesn’t run, then DeSantis. If not DeSantis, then it is an open field.

I don’t think he’s running. In fact, I’m sure he knows better than anyone else that he doesn’t have a chance in hell of winning a presidential election.

DeSantis will wipe the floor with Pence once he has Trump’s endorsement. Only question is DeSantis is smart emough or if he starts to believe his own PR and think he’s too big to kiss Trump’s ring.

I think Trump will still run, if the liberals don’t find something to hang on him in their various investigations

Kinda reminds me of Newt on the upswing until 1998. DeSantis is on the upswing now. Pence was until Jan 6. Let’s hope the DeSantis balloon continues. Right job as Governor-big state. Will the rats sabotage him?
