Three Loveland, Colorado, police officers who were involved in the arrest of Karen Garner, the 73-year-old woman with dementia who suffered injuries while she was being detained last summer, have resigned from the department, according to officials.
Now-former officers Austin Hopp, Daria Jalali, and community service officer Tyler Blackett are "no longer employed with the Loveland Police Department," Chief Robert Ticer said in a press conference Friday, The Coloradan in Fort Collins reported.
Ticer would not specify if the three had resigned or if they were fired, but a department spokesman later said they quit.

I want to read about them being charged, convicted, and jailed for their unconscionable actions.
I saw the Video, they should be in Prison
That will allow them to buy some dogs to abuse.
They’ll just go to another town and start over.
Did they laugh after handing in their resignations?
Probably so.

Wow, impressed, nine comments and no one has yet defended the cops—Oh, the lady had dementia and won’t remember, or, she’s still breathing, or, she was white so it is okay, or, the cops were bored, or, she deserved it, or, whatever...
All that matters is that those brave public servants went home safe that night. What does it matter that some old lady gets tuned up in the name of officer safety? See, if she’d only done what she was told to do the brave officer would not have needed to take her to the ground and break her arm as the serious threat to authority that she posed.
Just comply while the officer is beating, tasing, shooting, killing, or raping you and everything will be fine for the officer.
Oh, and don’t record the police while they assault old people. Cameras are a grave threat to a violent officer’s career.
I have taken heat here in the past for defending cops, not this time. These guys deserve jail time.
It’s best to stay as far away from the Legal System as possible.

“I want to read about them being charged, convicted, and jailed for their unconscionable actions.”
I want to read about all of what you said, as well as losing their pensions for themselves and their families. That could be a “teachable moment” for other abusive cops.
“she was being detained last summer”
This happened almost a year ago and they’re just now resigning? Talk about the wheels of justice turning slowly.
They kept their jobs for months after they beat up the woman. Only after a video of the assault was posted did they face the consequences.
So, it’s OK to beat up an old WHITE woman with dementia, but NOT OK to say or do anything to a non-White.
I think my rants are correct. The ones about the left wanting to eliminate Whitey.
Good. Now when a family member tracks them down and beats the snot out of them it’s just a simple assault.
Assuming they get caught.
