French judge resigns over court’s decision to excuse Sarah Halimi’s murderer (murdered because she was Jewish)

French judge retires his robes in protest at ‘catastrophic’ decision in Sarah Halimi anti-Semitic murder case.

A French judge with more than 25 years of experience on the bench resigned from his post on Monday, citing the decision earlier this month of France’s highest court to excuse from trial the accused anti-Semitic killer of a Jewish woman in her Paris home in 2017.

Eighty-two-year-old Jack Broda — an associate judge at the judicial tribunal in the city of Nancy — told media outlets that he could no longer serve the French judicial system following the April 14 decision of the Court of Cassation not to try 31-year-old Kobili Traore for the brutal murder of Sarah Halimi, a 65-year-old educational specialist, on the grounds that his consumption of marijuana had rendered him temporarily insane on the night of the killing.

Under the French penal code, an accused person deemed by court-appointed psychiatrists to have lost their “discernment” cannot be held responsible for any crimes subsequently committed, even if the accused entered this mental state through the voluntary consumption of drugs.

“I am Jewish, but it is less the emotion I feel than the catastrophic dysfunction of the instruction in this case, that made me make this decision,” Broda told his local news outlet, L’Est Republicain, on Monday.

Is our Judicial System in the USA on the same precipice as this Judge faced. Has the insane warping of our Justice system by unelected officials rendered our system of Justice this bad?

May God Help US ALL!

being guilty because an impairment is possible, being not guilty because you are impaired is not possible...

society is guilty due to insanity.

I’m sick. I had already read about this murder, but this Judge’s statement drove home the reality of the no penalty punishment.

I bet he does not feel honored, I bet he feels betrayed by the legal system. And he was. Terribly betrayed by political correctness. Not by traditional rule of law.

The rule of law is made by men to try and preserve society.

It is common for men to fail at such tasks.

This is not common. And it is not acceptable. It is the darkest form of insanity.

The judge would do his country proud if he would hit the bong and then go over to the perp’s house and put a round right into his forehead.

French judge resigns over court’s decision to excuse Sarah Halimi’s murderer (murdered because she was Jewish)

Perhaps Mossad should make an appeal to France's Highest Court.

I have never had the slightest bit of respect for the dandified French. They could not defend themselves during either World War. They allow muzzlimes to freely take over their country and murder its citizens at will. They elected a spineless idiot with a bad case of Oedipus complex as a president And yet they carry their noses in the air. For what?
