I've tried, but every time I do your big giant gay rainbow
animated gif slows my machine down too much.
Maybe re-size that thing, or compress it.
Hell, man... just delete it. Everyone gets it already, Swishy.
I was considering taking a job at a nursing home where the residents had dementia and Alzheimer’s. In training we were told that these people don’t have a concept of “mine”, “yours”, etc. What they would have known as stealing in their younger days is just normal life for them now. Joe’s sweater might wind up in Bob’s room. The picture of Mary’s family might be on Judy’s dresser. It was one big share-fest, and that was how they lived their lives. Nobody was punished; nobody made a big deal about it.
So if she was stealing from Walmart, there’s a good chance she didn’t understand it.
I notice female cops getting in on the tail end of things in quite few bodycam releases. Kind of an “I helped.” thing. I imagine they probably get shoved aside by males quite a bit, too. Between Mohammed Noor, the Floyd arrest, and the accidental shooting of Wright, I’d say the Minneapolis cops need a serious top to bottom assessment of their training. I’d say something is seriously wrong in the Loveland, Co department, as well. I don’t have any particular gripe with my local cops...I’ve seen them do good work...but I’ve heard criticisms that they’re just putting in their 20. Maybe cops nationwide are demoralized by politicized prosecutions, or lack of them.
The big male cop who actually had control of Wright to start with and muffed the cuffing should absolutely have been able to sling Wright around.
In before Howlin part deaux demands Fresno name and zot anyone here who criticizes police shootings or beatdowns
“BTW if a cop cannot take down a tiny defenseless weak elderly woman without using what appears to be excessive force, he does not deserve to be a cop.”
Right, this is what I always think.
If only for Chauvin and the other 3 cops, Floyd only had a broken arm and dislocated shoulder. And he wasn’t hog tied.
“As they all sat there and giggled about dislocating and breaking an old woman with dementia’s arm.”
Yes, that is sick. If a person has any dignity he doesn’t laugh about taking out even the baddest man in town.
This guy is giggling about beating up someone’s grandmother. I wouldn’t want this man sweeping my floor or pumping my gas, quite frankly.
Yeah. I can’t believe he got in and drove off. Maybe he backed off in anticipation of the tasing.
Been there done that for six years...now my dog has dementia
“But they called the cops anyway.”
This is a good example of when it might actually be a good idea to have some cadre of social workers you could call. I’ll assume they wanted to get the woman some help, that impulse ending badly happens often enough.
All I can say about your response is WOW!
Looking for a little attention?
I could give you an ear full but I am certain others are.
You need to learn all the facts before you sound off.
Shame on ya.
“...an elderly women with dementia ...”
Having lost a number of family members to dementia I would ask “Where was the family?”
There comes a point in time where their mobility needs to be curtailed. That time is well before they start picking up things and walking out of stores.
Look, George Floyd was a big strong man. I mean he looks like he was, I get he had some health issues and had been hospitalized for an OD, but still. Hubby’s ancient and he’s got plenty of health issues, but he’s a big strong man and he could kick at least some guys butts, were he so inclined. And he could probably beat the cr*p out of the average woman.
This woman is just not in that weight class.
He is just following the example of vice president Kameltoe
Me too. I have white cell brain disease and have been told that is often a precursor to dementia. Every time I forget something I know I knew I wonder if that’s the start of my slide into dementia.
I read (I forget where) that she offered to pay for the items but Walmart told her to just to leave them (I don’t know if they stopped her as she was leaving the store or outside of it). She returned them but Walmart called the police anyway. Either way she did not have any items on her when the police treated her like a rodeo calf.
Here is a link to a Denver Post article.

I agree. Shes so small that the bystander thought she was a child!
one of my friends thinks that 99% of all women should not be cops, but he is biased cause his woman partner shot him in the back of the head. (it just grazed him, or he would not even have an opinion)
Walmart refused to let her pay for the items.
