I saw a documentary on Oak Park Heights a while ago. Worst of the worst go there. I am sure Chauvin will go straight to PC and stay there.

I would hope he goes there, it is his only chance to survive.

He wasn’t going to the country club. He was convicted of murder. Hoping his sentence or charges are reduced.

He hasn’t even been sentenced for his crimes yet. The sentencing isn’t for another 2 months.

Yes, I have been wondering that, as well. I don’t understand.

The jury could hardly say he was guilty of the most egregious, but innocent of the lessers.

If they had charged him with rape I think he would have been convicted.

I think just one of those charges carries 25 years. I am afraid the judge will be afraid to do anything but max sentence.

While I would not have convicted him on the charges based on the medical evidence, be careful not to paint this guy as some kind of hero or model police officer. I do not know him personally but he wreaks of a couple of guys I knew growing up. The clue is the hand in the pocket.

One buddy was a failure at sports and a social loser. His daddy was the local police chief. Son became an officer and the moment he pinned on that badge, he thought he was some kind of Billy Badass. Over a couple of beers, he loved telling his stories of needlessly slamming people to the ground and would get flustered when I would call him out for being a douche cop.

Officer 2 was a prison guard. He loved to abuse and harass the inmates and boasted about it to his friends. Kind of person who invited himself to get-togethers because he was never invited by the host.

His hands were not in his pockets. He was wearing black gloves that matched the color of his pants.

Second degree murder carries a maximum sentence of 40 years. Prosecutors are reportedly pushing for a longer sentence claiming aggravating factors.

Whatever, sheesh, the hand ON the pocket then, it’s the casualness he is trying to display. Surprised he didn’t preen for the crowd like a pro wrestler after they carted Floyd away.

Like I said, I would not have convicted him based on the medical evidence, but I strongly suspect he’s no saint and I wouldn’t want anything to do with the guy. The term “Douche” is all but tattooed on his forehead.
