Heh. I tell people masks were made to stop bacteria (or dust). In the microscopic world, Bacteria is a basketball and Rona is a marble. That’s why basketball hoops are pretty useless with marbles.

Not all masks are unprotective. You can for modest money acquire virus rated N99 or P100 filters for fitted masks that have independent third party verification of effectiveness against challenge aerosol virus tests. Those filters ABSOLUTELY will protect the wearer against an aerosol virus. The eyes are still a vector if half mask respirators are worn here again effective PPE is easy to get foam sealed glasses used for chemistry lab work will keep 100% of droplets or aerosols from getting to the eyes. So spewing a blanket statement that all masks are worthless is completely false. One must have the proper PPE that is fitted to them it’s not hard it all that expensive to get to near complete aerosol protection.
