It is no secret Republicans are at war with each other – especially in South Carolina. Late last month, we reported on the latest GOP infighting in the Palmetto State – where two sycophants of former U.S. president Donald Trump are battling each other for the right to lead the state party ahead of its 2024 “First in the South” presidential primary.
Earlier today, this intra-party fight began receiving some national media attention …
Additionally, this news outlet has noted how similar ideological fault lines are emerging within GOP legislative caucuses … which are currently at each other’s throats over all manner of hot-button issues.
More than at any point prior, the Republican “tent” is being ripped apart – with fiscal “moderates,” #NeverTrumpers, neoconservatives, libertarian-leaners, social conservatives and MAGA warriors all seemingly at odds with each other depending on the day.
The only thing uniting them? Opposition to the increasingly radical left …

This isn’t all that complicated.
Do you support Build the Wall? Do you support Drain the Swamp? (And let’s start to flesh that out. Term limits is a nice start)
The fundamental issue at all of this is those two items above are what defines Conservative. If you do not support those policies, and have not ALWAYS supported those policies, then you are not conservative.
That is the battleground. The GOPe will call themselves conservative because they must and they will never mention those two requirements. This is the battleground. Build the Wall and Drain the Swamp are every bit as much conservative definitive as pro Life.
Why do most Trump supporters qualify their support?
the mainstream people are nice people, there is a fancy pants type GOP here, the elites have the best halls or places to hold dinners, such as first monday, gop ladies dinners, and the people who are the wealthy types all attend.

the ladies who ran last night for chairman, 1st vice, are of the elites, they know the right people, go to the right places, husbands are the right jobs, the right cars...the elites of GOP
nice people, but, not grassroots whose ideas are just as good as theirs, and many times, better.
If Jesus is not first, there is no America, hence, GOP elite.
knowing that 6% of the GOP convention voters voted FOR boys playing women’s sports, tells me that MANY more GOP voters are for it, too, in other parts of the country.

What exactly are Never Trumpers running on, since Pres Trump is not on any ballot, and is unlikely to ever be in office again? His energy was amazing, but he would be in his 80s for the second half of the second term. Let the man retire, and enjoy his success. His ideals were what was important, not the actual person himself. He won't be around forever, but his ideals have to be.
So again, what the hell are Never Trumpers about? Why do they exist at all?

I find it hard to believe, but the sworn statements are evidence of slander...and there aint no lawsuit...so, what is it?

Lindsey sets off gaydars where he goes, the last GOP chairman for greenville just got served with a slander suit, the two women who got elected for chair and vice chair came in way down on the list of delegates while the two top tickets of the opposing Tea Party types who lost came in the top 10 of delegate vote tally!
The G’ville outgoing GOP needs to make some answers about that! How do you lose an election yet get so many more votes for delegate than the winners of the election??

Liberals would like us to focus on our differences. Divide and conquer. I would rather focus on differences in the Democratic party.
The Democrats had Dixiecrats and Commmies. In my lifetime they had greens and labor. Since Obama the greens dominate and labor is taken for granted. Working class Democrats should be told the truth that they no longer matter to the Democratic party.
Are all Democrats fine with communism, be it in China, the old Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela, or America? If not, “mainstream” Democrats should be reminded of their increasing far left fringe (which includes Biden).
It sounds ugly to say it, but even Blacks and Hispanics are at odds with one another. Blacks don’t favor the idea of becoming the second favored minority in the Democratic party. Working class blacks don’t like losing their jobs to non-citizens.
I think most factions of the Republican party can be logically reconciled. I’m at ease with both social and economic conservatives.
Today I think the national divide can be expressed as those who like America and Americans, e.g. Donald Trump, and those who, in their hearts, view America and Americans with disdain, e.g. Obama/Biden.
