So why should the engineering of the vaccine be any different from the engineering called Gain Of Function research that manually created the virus in the first place.
Modifying animal viruses to make them more virulent and able to penetrate human cells,so who knows how it will react to anything

It's not engineering. Engineering works. An engineering solution from the Roman Empire or the Middle Ages will still work to this day. The only reason we (usually) don't use medieval engineering is modern engineering works better!

Roman science, or even last year's Science, not so much.
