Richard Kyte: Why gun owners need a change of heart (barf alert)
Rapid City Journal ^ | 8 apr 2021

Among the many questions my wife and I did not consider when deciding to start a family, one stands out: What to do about guns?

She was raised in a city. There were no guns in her home, and she knew very little about them. She simply assumed our children would not have guns in their home either. The truth is, she was afraid of guns.

The only way “gun owners” could go about “lessening the amount of gun violence in our country” would be to form posses and go to war against the street punks and drug gangs.

But somehow I doubt if that is what this cuck is advocating.

Agreed - how in the world can gun owners take responsibility for the criminal activity of others? Gun owners take responsibility for themselves while gun controllers try to assign responsibility for criminal violence to everyone but the criminal. Here’s an ivory tower idiot spouting off more carbon pollution.

Sorry, Richard Kyte, but I didn’t get my concealed carry license for “deer hunting.”

Hey Richard!

Grow up!

Only prosecuting and penalizing CRIMINALS reduces CRIME!

Taking away guns from law abiding citizens INCREASES CRIME!!!

If the border is wide open people can just walk across the border carrying whatever gun, bazooka or man-portable missile they want!

Apparently, she wasn't raised in Chicago.

<< “Why can’t those who own guns and know the most about them take responsibility for ensuring they’re used safely and without malicious intent?” >>

Is this guy serious with this moronic question?

Sounds like the dude listened to his wife a little too much. And both fail to comprehend the fundamental truth at the bottom of the 2nd Amendment. The framers knew at some point that the government they crafted would go bad — every government goes bad over enough time. They WANTED a lot of well armed folks to be REALLY IRRESPONSIBLE and DANGEROUS when our time came.

I just watched the first part of Biden’s noon-time statement promoting gun control — Biden kept calling ATF by the initials AFT, what an idiot.

AFT = American Federation of Teachers.

He repeatedly said he has a new director of “AFT.”

Agree, same here. Iv raised three daughters, all now adults and on their own. I have several guns which I keep most of in a gun safe. But, I do keep a few handy strategically located for home defense. And, I carry occasionally, and keep a handgun in my pickup console which is my daily driver. Anyway, I recall a few instances when my girls were growing up that one of them would tell me so and so’s parents wouldn’t allow a friend to come over because we had guns in the house. I would explain that it’s veryones choice and I choose to have guns and I’m sorry her friends parent feel that way. But, I live in Texas so this was rare.

The term “gun” is not in the 2A. The Second Amendment was written to protect us from the tyrants we have now and the fools who are destroying the Republic. The principle is lost on the corpse called the president on down to the cuck who wrote this asinine article.

What Mr. Voice Of Reason is demanding here is that law-abiding gun owners take responsibility for a problem neither of their making nor within their ability to address. That’s a chump’s game and will only lead to becoming the scapegoat set up for a throat cutting. Been there, done that, tired of it.

He is. He does not understand why we have a 2nd amendment. After all, the government would never hurt you. They only want what is best for you.

"All Jews will report to the town square at one o'clock along with two changes of clothing and food for three days. You will be relocated to work camps."

Mr. Richard “Fudd” Kyte needs to get acquainted with reality.
“Gun Owners” and firearms are not responsible for the violence. Criminals are. The vast majority of perps have prior records. In fact, after suicide, the most common cause of ‘gun deaths’ is criminals shooting at other criminals.
Would he like Gun Owners to form Committees of Vigilance and Militias to deal with those responsible for the violence, and in a fashion that the governments won’t?
Didn’t think so.
