Maybe they will flip this seat as it covers part of Palm Beach and areas of broward county. Time for Trump to work his magic in flipping this seat.
*************
Wouldn’t it be wild if Trump ran, won the seat, and then was appointed Speaker of the House (of course he doesn’t actually have to be a member of the House to be appointed Speaker).

The House then impeaches Harris and removes Biden with the 25th Amendment. Trump would then be President.

If the Oak Island guys really want to find a treasure horde, they should start digging around Alcee’s house.

“...what is the balance in the House these days?”

Looks to be 218 to 212, including Hastings sad demise (LOL). And it includes one Democrat from South Texas who’s pissed as hell regarding the boarder situation. Pretty damn tight.

Bad people make bad judges make bad cases make bad laws make bad appeals make bad impeachments make bad laws make bad candidates make bad Congressmen make bad laws.

The onorous assessment of a lifetime making bad laws three different ways.

Antithetical to our Republic, a traitor to the bench, and a scorn upon representative democracy! Begone!

My buddy in Alcee's FL district is ecstatic.

The reason why Our Founders did not do term limits is because they wanted the vote to be in the hands of the people to decide who will represent them.

Alcee is the poster child for when corruption interfers with the natural voting process.

Term limits would not change this - A complete overhaul of the justice and legal systems is the only remedy.

Term limits is only a bandaid.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Not that it matters, the morons who elected this scumbag will simply elect another of equal moral stature - that is to say no moral stature.

“Not only that but according to the constitution, an impeached and convicted federal official, can NEVER hold federal office again.”

The Senate can add that prohibition (remember, the dems wanted to do that to President Trump) but they don’t have to. In Hastings’s case they choose not to.

Alcee Hastings (D) was a scumbag...

https://freebeacon.com/politics/rep-alcee-hastings-maxes-girlfriends-salary-fifth-straight-year/

from link: Rep. Alcee Hastings (D., Fla.) continues to pay his longtime girlfriend the maximum congressional salary of $168,411, and has paid her nearly $2.4 million in salary since 2000. Hastings also employs his girlfriend's daughter and the wife of a former staffer who was previously convicted of money laundering.

... The gig has proved lucrative for Williams, who has pocketed millions in salary since 2000, the first year that salary figures are publicly available from Legistorm. Hastings' history with Patricia Williams dates back to the 1980s, when Williams served as co-counsel during his impeachment trial as a federal judge.

In 1981, Hastings was charged with "conspiracy and obstruction of justice for soliciting a $150,000 bribe in return for reducing the sentences of two mob-connected felons convicted in Hastings' court."

William Borders, a D.C.-based lawyer who was indicted alongside Hastings, was convicted in 1982 following an FBI sting. Hastings was acquitted by a criminal court in 1983, although a probe later found that Hastings had tampered with evidence, committed perjury, and conspired to accept bribes. Williams worked as his co-counsel throughout the trial.

Thank you Richard Earle Jr....

That is only for the senate. There has to be a special election to replace him.

84, we have a gerontocracy. Normal people would retire and enjoy the last years of their lives. These vile pigs just stay on and on and on.

I know a couple people who have died of pancreatic cancer lately. It used to be rare. It doesn’t seem rare anymore.

I blame all the refined foods people eat. Since the 1950's this country has shifted dramatically from diets based on whole/natural/raw foods to highly refined and processed foods and there's just no way that's good for the human body.
