As a very small cog in the Democrat organization with no real responsibilities she can do and things that a more senior member can not say or do. I think that analysis understates her influence. She’s not really focused on pushing bills through.
For example the Green New Deal is never going to be enacted in the form she proposed. However Biden’s going to spend trillions on so called “green energy”. She’s having a significant impact.
