Buckingham Palace says it may consider appointing someone to spearhead its efforts around diversity.
The news comes weeks after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, told Oprah Winfrey that a member of the royal family -- not the Queen or Prince Philip -- raised the issue of how dark their unborn child's would be.
"Diversity is an issue which has been taken very seriously across the Royal Households," a royal source said Sunday. "We have the policies, the procedures and programmes in place but we haven't seen the progress we would like in terms of representation and more needs to be done, we can always improve."
"The work to do this has been underway for some time now and comes with the full support of the family," the source added.

Boy, that sounds like a really cushy job.
Maybe the inbred royals that destroyed the UK could abdicate, turn over their stolen wealth, and move somewhere other than the US and find real jobs.
How about South Africa? It is part of the commonwealth (or used to be). Dangerous though.
If they do they also should consider scrapping the whole plan. It will all be over.
It’s all about who works upstairs and downstairs, isn’t it? Or perhaps the royals could introduce forced breeding program with quotas of different races to insure all the world’s races are appropriately represented in the family.

The ‘forced diversity’ bit is going out of fashion...it would be a mistake for the queen to jump on it now.

If Queen Elizabeth the first was still on the throne Harry and Megan would now be booked into the tower of London for an extended period.
You joke but all the pro sports teams are hiring these “diversity officers.” Commissars, basically.
And if Henry VIII were king, Meghan’s ghost would be haunting the palace “with ‘er ‘ead tucked underneath ‘er arm.”
So now we’ll have pictures of the Royals posing with all their “diverse” new friends.
Wonder how much the new Diversity Chief will be paid (footed by the British tax payer, of course). Will this Diversity person have a title - like My Lord Highness of Diversity? Or maybe two Diversity Officers - like The Duke and Duchess of Diversity?
