When a Democrat resorts to blaming “cancel culture,” the writing is well and truly on the wall. A struggling Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) held a press conference on Friday after New York Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jerry Nadler, both Democrats, added their voices to a rising chorus of 117 state legislators demanding the governor resign amid sexual assault allegations and the COVID-19 nursing home scandal. Cuomo again denied the allegations and condemned what he described as a “reckless” rush to conclusions.
“Politicians who don’t know a single fact but yet form a conclusion and an opinion are in my opinion reckless and dangerous,” he said. “The people of New York should not have confidence in a politician who takes an opinion without knowing the facts and substance. People know the difference between playing politics, bowing to cancel culture, and the truth. Let the review proceed, I’m not going to resign, I was not elected by the politicians, I was elected by the people.”
Cuomo, the son of a former New York governor, said, “I am not part of the political club, and you know what? I am proud of it.” Ironically, he went on to say, “My entire life I have been under public scrutiny, since I was 23 years old and ran my father’s campaign. New Yorkers know me. Wait for the facts.”

Even with calls to vacate the office, it’s hard to believe they have truly thrown Cuomo under every bus, but thats how it appears.
They (the Socialists) must really REALLY want a particular person in that seat of power.

Bad move. 90% of Cuomo’s base thinks the phrase “cancel culture” is a shibboleth of conservatism. No Republican will have any sympathy for Mr. Late Term Abortion.
If it will serve the cause, Cuomo is toast. If it will serve the cause, Cuomo is safe.
My guess is the Left will conduct an auction. If Cuomo has some further part of his soul to sell, that will be the base price that the Lieutenant Governor will have to meet. “May the worst man win” is the rule of the game.

I think the Dems and media are playing up the sexual harassment stuff to take away from all the elderly he killed in nursing homes and elsewhere.
Then when he’s out the Dems and media can pull a Hilary and say “What does it matter now?”
Could you imagine if Nadler wins this one? Nursing Home Killer (NHK) Cuomo would be forever angered that the dumpy fat slug kept his job while he, the murderous pervert, had to go get another job.

Will Cuomo turn on the party?
If he wanted to survive for the remainder of his term, he would drag Buyden, Kamel (both silent to date) and Bill CLinton into the issue. Why does groper Buyden get a pass (Tara Reid) from his critix? Why does Kamel’s admission of using men and sleeping her way up the ladder give her a pass? Bill Clinton has had a lifetime sexual harassment and abuse pass. So why are the demonkkkraps treating Cuomo differently? If he did this, he would shut the demokkkraps down.
The demonkkkraps chose to ignore Cuomo’s policies that are cited as causing the unnecessary deaths of others in nursing homes, then lied about it. The demonkkkraps took on something far “more serious” than killing people - offended leftist women who now claim [after the last election and well before the next] that Cuomo is a sexual monster. That my friend is worse than being a merchant of death. The demonkkkraps chose to play the sex angle b/c to go after Cuomo on the deaths would have meant that Trump was right on the virus and Cuomo’s malfeasance.
To weather the storm, sure it will be rough for Cuomo, but he actually has a good political hand in a demonkkkrap state to survive if he knows how to play it. Cuomo’s political aspirations to go higher in the party are over. Maintaining his position is preferable than resigning. Just ask the racist VA gubnar.
I can’t stand Cuomo to the point of hate, but something tells he he has a lot of secrets about those attacking him. He should just release it all. He should have learned by what happened to President Trump releasing info is what should be done

Yes, yes. We know there are armchair Constitutionalists out there who will blather on that the women you groped are the ones who had their Rights violated. Probably some convoluted argument that their Right to be secure in their persons or some such fairy tale "protection" was denied them.
