The Truth About Democrats’ New Gun Control Push(no search results)
townhall.com ^ | 3/11/2021 1315 hrs est | Congressman Ted Budd

This week, the House passed two bills that would undermine this right. The first was H.R. 8. It was sold as “universal background checks.” It would impose harsh penalties like six-figure fines and jail time for the simple act of handing a firearm to another person, even for temporary use. The exemptions under H.R. 8 are woefully inadequate to protect the rights of law-abiding gun owners. For example, if you loan your firearm to a victim of domestic violence because their abuser is being released from jail; or if a suicidal friend asks you to take possession of their firearm; or if you loan your cousin your gun after a series of burglaries in the neighborhood. These new transfer penalties would turn law-abiding Americans into criminals.

House Democrats also passed H.R. 1446. This bill claims to close the so-called “Charleston Loophole,” by making retail gun stores wait 10 business days before completing a transfer instead of the current three day standard. The bill would also change existing law to mandate a may-issue transfer system for firearms. That would empower the FBI to indefinitely delay a purchase—even after the increased 10 day window has expired without a failed background check.

Contacted both of our useless dem senators to tell them to oppose this. Sure they will. NOT! The deomocommies should sack up and simply submit the bill that outlaws private gun ownership. That IS what they intend eventually.

“The deomocommies should sack up and simply submit the bill that outlaws private gun ownership. That IS what they intend eventually.”

It is, and it’s coming. The indoctrinated look at gun owners as if every single one is an extremist not to be trusted. Every day more of us who are not indoctrinated die. Now that elections no longer matter, they will have their way.

In the very near future, owning a gun will be a complicated, expensive thing to do.

The Libs will freak out at the lack of compliance with any registration.

Their first response will be to extend deadlines and increase penalties.

Don't even try to guess what happens next.

So we know who will and won’t have them for sure then. And you probably won’t actually “own” one.

Same cops that arrested people for church services will be going house to house to seize guns.

And that is coming. The Dems learned that if they are going to do it, do it as far from elections as possible. Of course, that is if there is a GOP as a legal party by 2022.

The same cop that comes for mine won’t be coming for yours. That I guarantee.

Ok.

When a Hellfire missile launched by a drone blows up your house, your family, and your neighbors what will the next guy do.

Or when your kids get taken by CPS, your bank account frozen, and your utilities turned off.

The time to resist was during when the Cops were arresting people for going to church. Since they did that with no consequences, do you think anyone will do jack about gun confiscation?

If the country comes to that point, it's time to pay a visit to your favorite politician and cement them into the bunker they're hiding in.

Not sure, but would more Republicans own guns than Democrats? A lot more? Just another attack on Republicans by the tyranny of the Left.

Or plan a exit. The elite want to be nobles, and they have most of the resources.

We are at the end of the Democratic experiment. The Republic died a while ago. Tyranny is coming.

After that a series of civil and succession wars.

Such is the path of governments.

They also could do what Cuomo did. He got about a 1.5% compliance, declared victory and moves on to wreck another part of the state.

Jail time for the simple act of handing a firearm to another person.

So if you loan your car to someone and they cause an accident do you face the same charges.
The democrat party is in need of an adult in the room and put some diapers on them there craping on everything.

We never stopped having church. How some communities cower in the face of brute authority has truly surprised me. Even around here there are a few “mask Nazis’ that freak out when they see an actual human face. They will comply. I tell them to mind their own $&€% business. If they decide to blow me up with a hellfire missile from a drone I guess I’ll be with the Lord that much quicker. If a cop comes to my home to take my gun I will defend my rights. That is where I draw the line. Without adequate self defense, we end up in gulags run by the left. You know it’s true. It has happened many times before and today’s left is no different.

I can understand caching for an unforeseen situation but if you are burying them it’s long past time to use them

Boating accident — that’s the way. Of course, out here in Ca I am required to report such. So, as soon as they start going about “registering” I will send in the form truthfully reporting the tragic loss. Too bad it can’t be as easy to claim that they were stolen out of a car — it is illegal to carry in a car without having them in a safe.

Oh, and here are the RINOS (that’s the nice word) that voted on this crappola:
Vern Buchanan of Florida
Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania
Maria Salazar of Florida
Andrew Garbarino of New York
Chris Smith of New Jersey
Fred Upton of Michigan
Carlos Gimenez of Florida
Adam Kinzinger of Illinois
Everyone of these tools ought to be on the “no money” list.
