We were out to dinner a few weeks ago and someone from table behind coughed.
I had a delayed thought about it....that, a year ago, that person would’ve been ostracized :-)
But, you’re right.....we RARELY hear any coughs or sneezes, in public, anymore.
People have finally learned to STAY HOME WHEN SICK.
That is a “new normal” we can all live with.
One of the long term outcomes of the scamdemic—I hope—it that we permanently remove any all incentives for coming to work or school when sick.
End “perfect attendance” awards.
End combined sick leave/vacation PTO
End dinging use (not abuse) of sick leave on annual reviews.
I rarely wear the stupid face diapers and am currently getting over bronchitis.
When I cough I just say “It’s just bronchitis, deal with it.”
