Rush Limbaugh is the G.O.A.T. when it comes to radio hosts, and if you don't believe that ... just read his death certificate.
According to the document, obtained by TMZ, the conservative firebrand host's occupation is right there in black and white -- "GREATEST RADIO HOST OF ALL TIME." That's some pretty high praise.
It's high praise for Rush that many, including his pal Donald Trump, would agree with -- but of course, there's probably those who'd strongly disagree.
Remember, Trump presented Rush with the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his achievements in radio -- but Florida Governor Ron DeSantis got some pushback when he ordered flags lowered to honor Limbaugh after his death last month of lung cancer.
We know what you're thinking -- Rush probably had a big fan in the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner's Office who put that title on the death certificate.
However, his wife, Kathryn Limbaugh, is listed as the person providing the info for the document, so it's most likely her handiwork.

Re: lowering flags.
This crap has to stop. Just yesterday again I see the US flag half staff. Why this time?
All we do is bow and whimper. Every god-damn issue means we “take a knee” (contrary to what NFL thinks, it’s actually NOT a gesture of defiance but of acquiescence).
How weak we must seem, where the flag is now only up about 30% of the time.
I don’t see how G.O.A.T equates to Greatest Radio Host of all Time. I agree, but that doesn’t make sense.

My late mornings and early afternoons will never be the same. Since April of 1992 I tuned in everyday. Now, I just can’t get myself to listening to the Rush tribute shows they’re airing in his time slot!

Right after bubba was Elected I heard the greatest of all time the Maja Rushi. and at first I was really mad , and then about a week later I couldn’t stop listening to him ! and it was that way for the last 29 years
I distinctly remember at the time to the other radio show that I really loved was the G Gordon Liddy radio program
G Gordon Liddy’s shower was totally hilarious and he was constantly haranguing on the criminality of the Clintons and comparing it to the pathetic thing that he got run up for a Nixon’s time and also talking about women and guns all the time
I’m perplexed at what seems to be a lack of planning for a successor to Rush on the EIB Network. No one can fill his shoes, of course, but who is there to give it a whirl?

Turned on EIB just a minute ago and heard “Remembering Rush ....” and then they had a Bill Clinton soundbite. Huh???
Loved Rush but I think even he would say this is a bit much. Let’s get back to analysis and commentary. If they want to do the rotating host - fine.

Are there any 12 - 3 hosts that are worth listening to? Probably not as Rush owned the field for decades
I'm old enough to remember that when the flags were at half-mast, everybody knew the reason. Usually it was when a president died.
Now they are half-mast so frequently nobody can tell you why. Here in Newtown, CT they still put the flag in the town square at half-mast for about a week on the anniversary of Sandy Hook shootings. This event happened almost 10 years ago. But lately you can't really tell because it's half-mast way more than it's raised to the top.
I'm thinking the guy who does the flag raising each morning is losing his upper body strength because he only rarely has to pull the flag all the way to the top.

Our moron, I mean Governor in Maryland just lowered flags to commemorate Frederick Douglass.
He was probably trying to override people lowering flags for Rush.
I admire Rush and Douglass. Mine remained at full staff.
