epresentative William Lamberth presents his Lifetime Order of Protection Bill. This bill is to prevent victims from being re-victimized, like Nikki Goeser. She had been married for just over 16 months, when her husband Ben was murdered in front of her by her stalker. The murderer/stalker has sent her twisted love letters from prison for many years. He is scheduled to be released from prison early. Nikki is fighting for a Lifetime Order of Protection Law in TN. Nikki testifies here in support of the legislation.

She would be better off if they gave her a lifetime gun concealed carry permit and some training.
She has a gun and carries. Her story is here... www.stalkedanddefenseless.com
Chute ‘em.
She’ll need Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson as boarders to protect her; that restraining order on paper is a joke, it’ll never stop him. Then too, early release for murder??
Ben and I used to run a karaoke business in the evenings, and I would usually carry my permitted concealed handgun with me. But, at the time, Tennessee did not allow carrying in restaurants that served alcohol. While I obeyed the law, Ben’s murderer did not. He had no permit to carry, and he brought a gun into a gun-free zone. (Fox News)

The murderer oughta be introduced to, “The Three “S’s”
Shoot
Shovel
Shut Up
Yep. Gun Control Law that prevented her from carrying when she needed it most. She is a gun rights advocate and has fought to change the laws so nobody else is left defenseless.
This is so wrong on so many levels.
The guy should have been swinging.
Pretty pathetic that the Prison System lets murderers out early. The guy has been stalking/harassing her from prison for years by sending her letters also. He is still being released early despite that. Although he has been charged now with federal stalking by mail and faces an additional 5 years, this time in a federal prison.
Yes, it is horribly wrong.
If they can refuse computer privileges in jail for those convicted of computer related crimes, can they not refuse inmates the privilege of sending mail?
Agreed. The bill is a pathetic attempt to correct the problem which is that the murderer was not executed. It is insulting to the victims.
Why didn’t TN levy the death sentence on this piece of trash. How could civilized people allow him to be sentenced to less than the death sentence. If there was ever a poster-boy for the death sentence by firing squad, this maniac is it.
The real solution here is a noose. Only one treatment needed.
I’m sure the stalker would find a workaround on mailing out letters. Bribe someone else to send your letters. I doubt it would take much. This guy should never be released from prison. Who is the judge that gave a sentence where he could get out?
Tennessee has not been willing to carry out the death penalty regularly like Texas does. The man who raped and murdered nine year-old Marcia Trimble, and raped and murdered my former classmate Sally DePrez, is still breathing air in the prison system. Supposedly, he could not get the death penalty because back when these two crimes were committed Tennessee had a moratorium on the death penalty. Of course he was paroled early in order for him to carry out these two murders.
What’s more they are releasing a deranged killer. We are told that the mentally ill pass for normal and can work in society, until they have another episode and can’t.
I totally agree
