Sarah, a blonde woman in her twenties, won a fellowship to work in Governor Andrew Cuomo’s office in 2013. She was surprised when she was quickly invited by senior staffers to sit at a desk positioned right near the governor — in his “line of sight,” as she described it.
At first, she didn’t understand why. Another woman in the office offered her some insight, telling her Cuomo “likes blondes,” particularly those in stiletto heels.
“You gotta wear heels when he’s in Albany sweetie, that’s the rule,” she said the woman told her. So, although Sarah was more accustomed to flats or boots, she soon amassed a small collection of stilettos — not because it was a written rule, but because it seemed necessary to succeed.
Nearly a dozen current and former staffers of Cuomo’s office ...Cuomo has cultivated an intense work culture that was brutal for some, traumatic for others. We are withholding all of their names, including Sarah's, because they fear professional or personal retaliation from the governor and his senior staff. Many still reside in New York where Cuomo’s reach extends far and wide.
The former staffers said they weren’t surprised by the allegations.... they described a workplace where outdated gender binaries were the norm, bullying was constant, and where people worked non-stop, blurring the lines between personal and professional lives....They faced personal attacks on their professional worth and competence for seemingly small mistakes. And loyalty, rather than creative thinking, problem-solving, or passion for public service, was valued above all else.
“There’s no right or wrong way. It’s the Cuomo way,” one former staffer said she was told when interviewing for the job.

There’s a current theory going around that Schumer is offering him up to AOC to forestall her challenging Chuckie in a primary. Give her the governorship instead.

Meanwhile he kept his own mother 90-year-old Queen Tilly stashed at Fredo's with Mrs. Wacky Fredo Cristina "Bleach Baths" Cuomo, until Fredo and Mrs. Fredo caught the bug and Andrew had to move the Queen yet again to a cousin's house. But no nursing home for Tilly, nope, never.
Obviously, someone higher up in the DNC food chain has decided Andrew has outlived his usefulness to the cause.
He cannot give what is not his to give...............
I’ve heard this rumor of AOC getting a free-card for the governor’s race. I just can’t see anyone in upstate NY voting for her.
Two other possibilities: Kathy Hochul (Lt Gov) and Andrea Stewart-Cousins (currently Majority Leader of the NY State Senate). Stewart-Cousins has the union vote and is fairly well known around Yonkers. Both would have more standing among NY residents than AOC.
One rumor going on within the state, for the 2022 Governor election...former Governor Pataki (Republican) might run (last in office in 2006). Beyond him...mostly a list of marginally known Republicans in the state.
He never addressed his VERBAL abuse and not a single so called media person asked him about his dirty comments and propositions and none asked about his nursing home manslaughter issue.

They need to obscure the news about the nursing homes. He will skate any focus on women issues. There are 4 demoncrat governors at stake with the nursing home murders.

This “woman misconduct” against Cuomo is just a smoke screen to take the heat off the Democrat Governors that killed thousands of senior citizens in nursing homes to make Trump look bad.
