I believe so. There are numerous reports that Jeffrey Dahmer spent much time studying the Bible, repenting of his sins, and even was baptized for the forgiveness of sins before he was murdered in prison.
Only God knows for sure, but I cannot see why a truly repentant Jeffrey Dahmer is not rejoicing in heaven right now.

But yes I understand the sentiment. It pisses me off that so many criminals can live guilt free in society.
Reminds me of when they put a 70 year old white drunk driver in with a 20 something black drug dealer in the cell block I was working in. The 20 year old came up to me at 3 in the morning and straight up told me he got sick of the old guys crap and beat the snot out of him. He then politely turned around and allowed me to cuff him . Old guy almost died.

My understanding is that “normal” murderers regard serial killers as wierdos who like killing instead of killing people for a good reason, like in a drug deal.

Killing in self defense is allowed, don’t know the BIBLE well enough to say whether or not killing in war is excusable.
When serial killers are given “deals” if they fess up to where they buried the bodies, that has always bothered me. There is no reason to let a killer get any part of a bargain.
There’s a lot more to it than that. The death penalty implies some means of thoughtful consideration, not spontaneous self defense. For example, a home invasion robber at night can be killed, even if a thief during the day cannot.
And certain crimes, such as the worship of Moloch with the sacrifice of children, are so profane that even accessory to them is worthy of the death penalty.
Wel, now he knows what it’s like to be on the receiving end.
However, while he was a serial killer, he can only die once.
