It’s been ignored completely, so this means nothing. NM is probably the late term abortion capital of the USA.

About her own body? Yes. About the body of another? Well, what would Jesus say?

“Anyone who seeks to violate bodily integrity...is in the business of dehumanization.”
Anyone, Governor? Does that include the abortionist who violates the baby’s bodily integrity by tearing it apart limb from limb, or suctioning his/her brains out? Have you thought about what happens to a baby in an abortion, Governor? Have you? You should! You should sit down and think about that, for the good of your immortal soul.

"A woman has the right to make decisions about her own body …" Ah, there's that tired old lie repeated ad infinitum
Anyone with a wee bit of common sense knows that it has little to do with "her body" and everything to do with another human's body, young as it may be.

“The 1969 state law criminalizing abortion was not currently enforced because the U.S. Supreme Court passed Roe v. Wade in 1973, legalizing abortion nationwide.”
Perhaps just a quibble over language but SCOTUS doesn’t “pass” anything. It is not a legislature no matter what it might think. They ruled that virtually every state legislature got it wrong and that banning abortion was unconstitutional. Kind of like gay marriage.

Will she be singing the same tune when the concept of mandatory WuFlu vaccination comes up?

Now put that as a caption on Billboards of a Pregnant Female with a Needle Sticking out of her arm while smokin the Meth Pipe and drinking booze.

Not ignored as much as unenforceable.

“A woman has the right to make decisions about her own body,” Gov. Lujan Grisham said. “Anyone who seeks to violate bodily integrity, or to criminalize womanhood, is in the business of dehumanization. Amazingly warped thinking. Killing innocent children humanizes us. Tearing the body of another person apart isn't making decisions about their body...
Disgusting.
To: hanamizu
SCOTUS issued an opinion. We should treat it as such. Just an opinion.
To: Tijeras_Slim
Unenforceable due to Roe v. Wade. They repealed the law to where abortion would remain legal if Roe v. Wade was overturned.

“Our state statutes now reflect this inviolable recognition of humanity and dignity”
You can’t get more lost than that.
Talk about moral relativism.
