All of a sudden, here it is the end of February and there is no State of the Union (SOTU) address scheduled for President Biden. That’s odd because last month, Biden promised what sounds exactly like a SOTU:
"Next month, in my first appearance before a joint session of Congress, I will lay out my 'Build Back Better' recovery plan," he said. "It will make historic investments in infrastructure, manufacturing, innovation, and research and development in clean energy."
AP and PBS both got wind that the address was to be given on February 23 in and said so in posts that are now deep-sixed:

The drugs they are using are less and less effective and can’t get him through a long speech.

Build Back Better, what a crock we’re in the hands of some hipster marketing firm making up clever ad slogans and it’s going to be this way for the next 4 years with no real leadership, no real direction with bureaucrats spending billions, taking in millions for the DNC, and making sure the mid terms are firmly rigged. Such an awful mess.

Little doubt this is true. And those Doctors administrating said drugs should have hell to pay when this all unravels.
The state of the union ‘speech’ can be a written report to congress as it was for many presidents. The constitution requires a report, not a speech. But we have become accustomed to a speech, which most presidents use as a bully pulpit.

Why should he do a SOTU? The lefties have everything they want. They don’t have to advise or give promises to the lowly citizens.
If they did they would have to be the 80 million stupidist people on the planet. In a few weeks you won’t be able to find anyone who admits to voting for him.
The President WILL BE GIVING a SOTU.
It is scheduled for Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 3:40 PM.
To be completely Constitutional, it should be live-streamed, with all in attendance, at a Joint Session of Congress with all 435 Houseies and 100 Sinators.
I heard that a reason to cancel the speech was that if the Pres House, Senate, SCOTUS is all under 1 roof that makes a tempting target for those nasty insurrectionists
It is not a State of the Union Address. It is an address to a Joint session of Congress. The first one in the presidency is not called a State of the Union Address.
Biden’s condition now is the same as when he “campaigned” from his basement. It was no accident that most days his handlers called a “lid” early in the day and sent surrogates out to raise money. Of course, the media house organs cooperated by never questioning Biden’s isolation and never asking hard questions on those rare instances when he appeared. Now that he is President, it is becoming much harder to hide him away so I believe the overall plan, to remove him and install Harris, now is moving into the next phase. I suspect that over the next few weeks or months more and more information will drip from the WH about Biden’s infirmities. Sadly, his Cabinet of Obama retreads, in collaboration with the Senate, will feel duty bound to invoke the 25th Amendment. Will Biden even know he has been removed? Doubtful.

Presidents do not deliver a State of the Union address during their first year in office.
That’s why there is always at least one presidential cabinet member who does not attend these speeches, on the off chance that a decapitation strike terror attack wipes out the president vice president and members of Congress.
