160 Historical Symbols.
This generation doesn't acknowledge the amnesty provided the Confederates AND THEIR HEIRS. So wrong.
We inherited slavery and abolished it. We keep saying Civil War did it....but many states abolished it many years earlier.

The movement to remove these symbols from public spaces became part of the national reckoning on racial injustice following the May death of George Floyd.Boy, are they going to be upset when the jury finds all the cops "not guilty"!

The Robert E. Lee statue was removed from the congress four days before Christmas in the dead of night. What’s really telling is not one person in congress said a single word about this. Cowards.

I can’t say I care or understand the confederate statue thing much, but, as a non American, it strikes me as ethnic cleansing.
They are pulling down your statues so as to pretend you were never there.
It’s the same thing the Arab immigrants in Gaza and the West Bank do to Jewish archaeological sites. They claim to be native and destoy 3500 years of evidence to the contrary.
The process will be a lot easier in America.

I can’t say I care or understand the confederate statue thing muchStates rights. Before "the war" the states were superior or at least equal to the federal. After, the opposite. But what really sealed the federal power take over was the 17th amendment.
To me, CSA symbols remind us of a time when the states had more control and authority to govern than the federal which is how it was designed to be. State-ist hate those symbols.

Meanwhile, Amazon is pimping blak businesses which, of necessity, means to boycott white businesses. Why was discrimination against blax in the fifties so wrong while discrimination against whites today is ok?

This bullsh*t has been going on for a long time. Insight and wisdom from novelist and Civil War historian Shelby Foote in 1994:

Hey left. Name one person all of this tantrum appeasement has helped or had their life improved by doing it.

Destroying history has a long history. Been done a lot. They think they have conquered us so they are entitled to do this.
Sadly, a lot of these memorials have lost their meaning through time. We will put up new memorials after we win the current war. Those are the ones we should be thinking about.

I don think that matters.
Their motivation is like the Arabs in Gaza, the Romans destroying the Temple, and the like.
They want to destroy you as a people and pretend you never existed.

Let me correct that: I don’t think that matters to them.
All they care about is destroying your history and pretending you don’t exist.
Destruction of monuments for this reason goes back to the days of Abraham.
You can see this from how they just as gleefully destroy statues of Lincoln as Lee.
