Mayor Muriel Bowser rebuffed the offer. As Speaker of the House, it’s inconceivable that Pelosi wasn’t part of this decision.

It’s very true that plain old corruption and the need of politicians to protect and defend their income stream probably has a lot to do with our electoral problems. And this is regardless of ideology or party.
However, I think we are definitely seeing a triumph of leftist ideology, because it essentially creates a system where government is overtly nothing but a funnel for corruption, making sure the perks go to those most in favor of fortifying government and keeping the money coming. Communist governments have always been fabulously corrupt, and their leaders always die wealthy and with their families having soared into the mega-rich category.
If that security wasn’t at the Capitol right now millions of people would be protesting or should I say peaceably assembling. I hope to live to see the day that these evil bastards and bastardettes running this country are literally yanked out of office. It’s the only way to be sure.

Our side did not fall for anything. We were out-gunned by big media in the war of words and spin. The answer is not to give up activists measures and just sit on our hands. Instead we need more activism, more PR, grow our own media, and stay ready for ARMED assemblies.

Of course it was a trap. And the ignorant Senators fell for it. How long did it take — four or five hours — for them to change their minds to certify the election? They didn’t even have the courage or honor to investigate the situation before changing their minds. They just assumed the chaos was caused by Trump voters, and then made a knee-jerk reaction. (Don’t they understand that the majority of Trump supporters also are gun owners? If chaos and riots were the goal, there would’ve been thousands of weapons — which there weren’t.)
People like that are too fing stupid to hold office (unless they’re RATs, where “stupid” is required). If they don’t understand their constituents’ hearts and minds after 5+ years of peaceful rallies and protests then they’re not worthy.
A month ago I sent an email to Sen. Blackburn about her vote. Yesterday I got a weasel-worded response that actually made me angrier than when she voted. She and Hagerty MUST be primaried next time they’re up for re-election.
