OAKLAND, Calif. - Private security guards are being deployed in Oakland Chinatown after a rash of robberies and assaults.
The guards hit the streets Tuesday, less than 24 hours after a store owner tried to intervene in a robbery attempt, and opened fire.

And then you will be sued out of existence when one of your guards does something the PC crowd doesn’t like. After all, this is in California.
This is what’s become of South Africa, where the government police simply don’t exist, and literally EVERY white person anything to protect has to use private security, along with being locked into their homes after dark, every night. And their homes, every one, is walled off from the street and their neighbors with electrified fencing.
That is how one lives in a country where your own government despises you.
Immigrants are hugely pro gun. I have some dot on the forhead Indians as clients who own lots of gas station and they all carry.

One of the people interviewed said the rule is you come home home before dark and settle in for the night like Charleton Heston in the movie Omega Man.
How far we’ve fallen from just 25 years ago when Korean shop keepers setup perches on the rooves of their businesses to protect them. Sad.
When police work is politicized, there are no police; I’m surprised this didn’t start once police departments “stood down” in the face of Black Lies Matter nonsense.
Here in NJ our police still function (urban forces never did much, but the surrounding forces are effective). Between the cost of non-functioning police and closed schools, I don’t see what taxes are paying for with either - voters should cut the money spent on both in that situation. Of course, more and more voters (especially in cities) aren’t paying for them, so they don’t care. I don’t mean paying tenants (they pay taxes indirectly through their rents), but those who don’t even pay rent - they still VOTE.
THAT is why the Founding Fathers limited voting to taxpayers.
The Chinese American population has to come to its senses and shift their allegiance and support the the Republican Party. It is the only way to prevent the Democrats from completely making California inlivable.

Most of what I posted I found simply by ‘driving around’ on Google Maps in what would be considered ‘nice areas’ - and seeing how they look almost the same as any nice suburb in the United States, with ONE BIG EXCEPTION:
The wall in front of the house (parallel to the street), it divides the front lawns in half, and has electrified wiring on top. People are now caged in, in South Africa.
As to going home before dark, my immigrant wife heard that from a friend who had just managed to get out of that country.
Short of a revolution, it’s hard to see how this country avoids South Africa’s fate within the decade...although a fate even worse, as in Cambodia/Rwanda, should not be ruled out either.
Suburban police departments in NJ are some of the highest paid in the nation. When I lived in Lawrence Twp back in 2006 the regular salary for a police officer in that little town was $86K before overtime. Love the high property taxes to pay for this stuff.
Chinese in NY and NJ are very heavily Democrat and I believe it is the same nationally. Only Asian group that seems to lean Republican per last election data I saw are the Vietnamese.

I don’t know about Oakland but I know from “participants” that in Chicago’s substantial China Town the citizens take matters into their own hands ...to good effect..with a wink and a nod from the police!😁
We have a lot of cops pulling in over $100 Gs - and with the scam they work with unused sick time and vacation, they retire not just with great pensions/benefits but often huge lump-sum payments for that time.
The public employees’ unions have killed NJ and neighboring NY; nobody wants to move or open a business here to pick up a piece of that tab...
