Replicated is the wrong word. The proteins are translated from the RNA message. You use replication to refer to protein translation in a subsequent paragraph as well.
As far as how this RNA vaccine works, I believe the translated antigen sequences are processed and presented in MHC.
I agree whole heartedly and as I mentioned on several occasions if he odds in winning the jackpot in the lottery would be as great as ending up with some adverse side effects we would have a lot of millionaires running around. Not to mention that so far no one can say for sure if getting a shot doesn’t predispose you for some strange affliction a few month or a year from now. And of course should it happen most likely the medical profession would deny any possible connection, not that I have anything against the medical profession, but that’s the way things work. If we would be dealing with some life threatening disease were it would mean to either get a shot or die, I go for it, but in this case where there are several other options available without taking any risk, I go for these options anytime, what I have done so far.
You are of course correct. I was trying to explain it in lay terms. However, a live virus in a cell that is RNA based will translate the entire genome several times in order to reproduce. But you point is fair and technically correct.

Hmmm, as you state you have a PhD, I would think you would have noted from first 2 paragraphs, the entire focused on by Arne Klungland, PhD, and his research team’s research:
An article titled “m6A RNA modification as a new player in R-loop regulation,” by the Dynamic Gene Regulation research group led by Arne Klungland at IMB, was published in the January edition of Nature Genetics.
Following a new collaboration between UiO and research groups in Nottingham and Oxford, it has now been revealed that RNA has a direct effect on DNA stability, according to Professor Klungland’s research.
Yes I do understand it to some extent but if I don’t have to be the unlucky recipient of an unpredictable event I much rather err on the side of caution. As mentioned earlier there are several other ways and means to blunt the effects of such a virus, or probably not get the virus at all as the case may be with either BHT or IVERMECTIN as well as some others, the catch is that these so called other ways and means have to be present in your system before you may catch this virus for best results. Fortunately we still live in a partially free country, for how much longer is questionable, what so far gives us a chance to decide which route to take.

BHT is disproven as treatment of anything, It is fringe at best, and complete quackery at worst. Ivermectin is an imperfect solution. I have seen several cases advance and die despite Ivermectin administration. The only way to properly treat is with monoclonal antibodies such as Bamlanivimab or Regeneron. The only way to prophylax with any degree of certainty is vaccine.
Period.

I ain’t taking the shot. It hasn’t been around long enough. I only take generic stuff so I can read all the pros and cons before deciding on a treatment.
I don’t go a lot of places in the winter. I started taking Vitamins including d3 years ago. Ever since then, I have not had the flu—not one single year.
In the 70s I had one of the China/HongKong Fluy and it was terrible. Started out mild, like a sore throat, and by the end of the day, I was having trouble breathing - I had bronchitis. Took months to get back to normal.
Every year after that I would get sick, until I started taking the D3. Then KABOOM no more fluy.

Yes. And the RNA will be replicated and be incorporated into the virion and one infected cell can churn out thousands if not more virus. I really don’t know the number of virus an infected cell will make.

Maybe it is because it is late, but I am not following your original issue with the article nor your replies to me.
Observations:
1. Nowhere are found the words “Vaccine” or “COVID” in the article.
2. Nowhere in my posts on this thread are found the words “Vaccine” or “COVID.”

By the way and for what it’s worth. I have seen BHT work with my own eyes for stopping the outbreak of herpes, but not curing them as once you got them, you have them for keeps and seen it work as well for shingles. Also not too long ago cutting short the infection with Covid-19 even so it was given late.
But I do grant you, if your immune system isn’t what it could and should be and your infection with the virus has advanced than probably a treatment as you suggested with Bamlanivimab or Regeneron may provide the best hope. And if you happen to find some literature where BHT has been disproven as treatment for anything I certainly be interested reading it. However there is enough literature indicating just the opposite and the effectiveness’ of BHT killing lipid covered viruses, you just have to spend a little time looking for it, but it is there.
It is difficult to convince me otherwise when I seen it work with my own eyes. Neither does it surprise me that no one is interested in running any actual tests, as even if the tests prove that it does work there is no money it and as we both know most everything revolves around money and I have to see yet a company spending money on research as well as tests when in the end it does not pay off.
