This lawyer is a good guy. but he’s falling for the “too much extremism on both sides” false narrative. No excuse for him to not know better. They didn’t build a fence around the Capitol and put thousands of troops there to protect against extremists from “both sides”. They did it to let the anarchists know that they are free to do whatever they want, while those who call them out for what they are will be labeled as the real extremists.
That’s a good take on what’s happening with the fences etc., in DC but I also believe it’s to TRY to impress on the American people that they, the legislators TRULY are in danger and need protection that ordinary citizens don’t need or DESERVE! This country never moved from the WILD WEST in other words. IF ONLY...we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in today!
They are clueless what other countries and its citizens must think about the United States if its lawmakers need this much protection from ordinary citizens? But do they care? Of course not - everything to their advantage...Like they were smug about losing yesterday and acting as if they WON. Pelosi said “the majority won” and I’m sitting there looking at 57-43 for acquittal on the screen and wondering if I heard right!
