Understand that this is exactly the game they’re playing. They put on the good old boy routine when it’s politically expedient but degrade to their true selves when behind closed doors. Politicians are slime.

As I see it now, the vote will be 56 to 44 Trump Guilty.
ALL Democrats will vote guilty and 6 Republicans will vote guilty. Of course this will not be enough to convict Trump, but that’s how I read the situation as it unfolds.
The 6 traitors in the GOP will be: Ben Sasse ( Who hates Trump’s guts ), Bill Cassidy ( a surprise ), Mitt Romney ( not surprised anymore, I full expected this after the first sham impeachment ), Susan Collins ( just recently elected, so she can reveal her liberal nature ), Lisa Murkowski ( who was considering renouncing her GOP Party affiliation ), and Pat Toomey ( who hates Trump and isn’t running for re-election ).
