The GOP Needs a Miracle to Win Elections in 2022 and 2024. Here It Is
Townhall.com ^ | February 7, 2021 | Wayne Allyn Root

Until now, I had no idea how dumb the GOP really was. Man, is our party dumb. The people who run the GOP are so dumb they couldn't spell "win" if I were to spot them the W and the I.

First, the presidential election was clearly rigged and stolen, and they just let it happen. Now the leaders of the GOP won't even admit it happened. They're afraid, like whiny little snowflakes, of offending liberal activists, Democratic voters, assorted socialists, government bureaucrats, RINOs (Republicans in Name Only), woke corporate CEOs, the mainstream media and the masters of social media -- you know, all the people who conspired to steal the election.

Don't believe me? Ask Time magazine. Time just released a fascinating in-depth story of how Democrats, liberal activist groups, media, social media and, shockingly, corporate America all partnered in one big conspiracy to prevent Donald Trump's reelection. Time admitted it was a "conspiracy." It admitted it was an "alliance between left-wing activists and business titans."

The detailed Time story reads like a confession of a stolen election. It admitted the game plan: This conspiracy was based on taking advantage of COVID-19, mail-in voting, last-minute changes in voting laws, gobs of corporate money backing the effort, and collusion by media and social media to silence any dissent.

And now the delusional GOP leadership compounds the problem by ignoring reality. Republican leaders keep thinking they're going to win it all back in 2022 and 2024. Really? How? What's the plan?

To quote Martin Luther King Jr., "I have a dream." I have a game plan that at least gives us a fighting chance to neutralize the Democratic advantage, compete and win elections.

First, money: Money is the mother's milk of politics. Democrats have all the money in the world. President Joe Biden raised record sums. Where did it come from? A ton came from the biggest corporations in America. How will the GOP compete with that moving forward?

The answer is to tell corporate America to go to hell. Former President Trump should remake the GOP as the party "of the people, by the people, for the people." It's time to announce the GOP will no longer accept any corporate money. From now on, the GOP will be funded "by the American people" only. Ask every Trump voter to contribute $10 per month.

Seventy-four million Trump voters would be thrilled to fund a party that looks out for the little guy. Some may give $100 per month, some $1,000. But everyone has $10 per month to spare.

Let's assume only 50 million Trump voters agree. That's $500 million per month. That's $6 billion per year without a penny from corporations. That's $24 billion over the next four years -- the most money ever raised by any politician or political party. That's enough to win a lot of elections.

Next, we have to admit we can never win again without voter identification. That's why we lost the presidency in 2020. Every major country in the world has voter ID, except us. Even Mexico has Voter ID -- with photo and thumbprint.

Mail-in ballots didn't lose the election. Voter ID did. With strict voter ID, you can't cheat by mail or in person. Dead people can't vote. Illegal aliens can't vote. It's all pretty simple -- to ensure fair elections and election integrity, we must demand proof of who is voting and ensure everyone only votes once.

With Biden and Democrats in charge, we can't get it on the federal level. And we're never going to get it in deep-blue states such as New York and California. But we just have to get strict voter ID laws in place in six states that determined the 2020 election: Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona and Nevada. Five of those six states have Republican-majority legislatures.

With this plan, even with all the damage Biden and the Democrats are doing to this country, we have a fighting chance at retaking America in 2022 and 2024.

Tom Donohue Departing U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Posted on  by Sundance

There is over a decade of deep research on Tom Donohue and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce within this website.  It was Donohue who originated the cabal assembly we define as “DeceptiCons”.  The U.S. CoC has been the biggest lobbyist spender in Washington DC since globalism and support for Wall Street took priority.

Immediately after they admitted the U.S. CoC worked with Big Labor and leftists to try and remove President Trump, Tom Donohue announces his departure from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Via Axios – Board leadership at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is close to naming Thomas Donohue’s successor, and is expected to appoint Suzanne Clark as its next leader, people familiar with the matter tell Axios.

Why it matters: As CEO, Donohue, 83, built the chamber into a political powerhouse that supports pro-business policies, contributes huge sums largely to Republicans and promises to give its international and domestic members a voice in Washington.

[…] Donohue was among many CEOs who called on Trump in mid-November to acknowledge the outcome of the election and began cooperating with the incoming Biden administration. (read more)

Some call it ‘Globalism vs Nationalism’, at other times it is best described as “Wall Street -vs- Main Street”; however, the overarching bigger picture is a battle over economics and the financial power structures that oppose President Trump, ie. “The Big Club”.

CTH has often said ‘everything is about the economics’, because it is. Ask the ‘why’ question five times to any issue and you will find the root issue is money.  Power, greed and control, it is all about the money and the economics.

Opposition to President Trump’s singularly unique and transformational reset of the U.S. economic system ultimately boiled down to a battle against the ‘Big Club’.  That is why corporate media aligned with labor and the leftists to remove their nemesis.

Every political confrontation is a move within this dynamic. The structural battle is not based on party affiliation, it is based on control and ownership of economics.

Billionaires on one side of the UniParty spend hundreds-of-millions in opposition to the MAGA agenda. That agenda, that economic agenda, is the existential threat to the Big Club’s grip on power.

Here’s the critical aspect: When it comes to the economics, there are no big spending billionaires on the nationalist side of the equation. The interests of Wall Street Democrats and Wall Street Republicans are based on globalism; Wall Street not Main Street.

In this fight there are no nationalist MAGA-donors to counterbalance that spending initiative other than you, the people.

Each of the lost congressional districts were targeted by the multinational Big Club.  Until the MAGA base gets a firm understanding of how this works opposition will continue to succeed. There is no MAGA-PAC or financial alliance system, funded by Wall Street billionaires who support the principles of economic nationalism, to counteract this dynamic.  It just doesn’t exist.

In the ‘globalist’ multinational, Wall Street dynamic, the Big Club DNC donor base and the Big Club RNC donor base have mutual self interests.  Within this interest, President Trump was/is their unified opposition.

The only defeating mechanism that can structurally override this dynamic is an independent Billionaire and a massive amount of tax-paying small donors, ordinary middle-Americans, who can supplement the financial arsenal.   Think back to 2015/2016, and you will see the single-successful-reference for this reality at work.

Everything is about the economics.

The Big Club opposition to President Trump was/is based on financial best-interest.  That opposition is not bound to a political party ideology.  It is an ideology based on economics.  In essence, this is a structural economic battle that is being waged politically.

Another intensely visible example of his dynamic is the Big Club donor-base within the GOP supporting Kevin McCarthy, and ADDING Rep. Liz Cheney (Wyo.) who was chosen to serve as House Republican conference chair, the #3 GOP spot in the House.

In the economic battle the successful defeat and diminishment of a House republican political body is more about creating a vulnerability, and creating a bigger opportunity to remove the existential threat President Trump’s economic policies represent.

Decades of financial policy were intentionally structured to the benefit of the BIG CLUB and the multinational Wall Street alliance represented by U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Tom Donohue.  This is not a Republican -vs- Democrat issue; this is a larger confrontation between those who hold financial power and a singular person, President Donald Trump, who was/is determined to remove that grip.

I agree with your points. We must starve the corporate beast, and insist on voter id / fair elections.

Trump had a tremendous opportunity to fix the voter ID problem especially after the Treasonists accused him of cheating with the Russians. But he didn’t do anything. Even when the Treasonists were circumventing state legislatures and changing election laws he STILL did nothing. Incredibly he even tweeted in June of 2020 “Democrats are setting up to steal the election” and he did nothing!

Money doesn’t win elections.....

Good basic idea and platform fundamentals do......

Money just helps to get the message out.....

If you have the entirety of the media (print, radio, and TV) and tech platforms against you; no amount of cash will help...

If your platform fundamental is faulty....you will lose......

Root is full of crap. Trump lost due to a 100-year pandemic. The Spanish flu election of 1920 and the Great Depression election of 1932 saw far greater incumbent party losses, and would have resulted in 2/3 majorities for the opposition in both House and Senate if all Senate seats were up for re-election the same year.

Biden responded with a barrage of executive orders that screwed a huge chunk of the independents and moderates who voted Biden because mean tweets are unpresidential. Biden will see a turnover of power in 2022 that makes Obama’s debacle of a mid-term look like a huge save.

Does Root’s hired scribe think before he types? Does he have a working brain cell left? I understand the pressures of turning out daily copy for his paycheck. But could he actually spend some time researching his essays? After all, that’s all he does for a living. It’s not like breaking rocks all day.

Re: “Money just helps to get the message out.”

I live in a solid red state. So for this past election, there was very little in the way of political advertisements blaring 24/7 on the television, radio airwaves, or showing up in the mailbox.

However, I couldn’t help but wonder what was going on in the battleground states, thinking about the anti-Trump, the anti-MAGA propaganda that was being pumped into these states non-stop, 24/7, ad nauseam leading up to the election, blasting Trump right and left, up and down, inside and out, all courtesy of big money from corporate America, with the help of big tech and big media.

With cheating allowed right now in elections it really doesn’t matter about future elections.

"Incredibly he even tweeted in June of 2020 “Democrats are setting up to steal the election” and he did nothing!"

OK, genius. Why don't you tell us exactly what he should have done? Here's a clue...the President, per se, is largely powerless without the backing of legislators at both state and national levels. Trump accomplished HUGE things even without that, but changes in electoral laws are the province SOLELY of the legislatures...state and national.

Agreed. Republicans, if they have the stomach for it - which I doubt - need to focus on strengthening their positions when it comes to State Legislatures AND Secretaries of State.

Voters, and potential voters, now have 3+ years to get a valid voter ID until the next Presidential election (and 1+ years until the mid-terms). That's more than enough time to counter charges of "voter disenfranchisement".

It now appears state SOS's can now make changes to election law with no court willing to hear a challenge.
