BayLegal has offices all over the Bay Area, including an office serving Santa Clara County. The legal aid organization offers services in several practice areas, including housing law, immigration, domestic violence, consumer issues, public benefits, and youth justice. The Law Foundation has five advocacy programs that each serve low-income clients in the Bay Area in different legal areas. The Health Legal Services (HLS) program offers services to people with health problems, including HIV/AIDS. The Fair Housing Law Project represents victims of housing discrimination and predatory lending. The Public Interest Law Firm has a broad range of practice areas but focuses on senior, youth and disabled clients. The Foundations child advocacy program is Legal Advocates for Children and Youth (LACY). Last but not least, the Mental Health Advocacy Project provides specialized services for clients with mental health and developmental disabilities.

Project Sentinel is a housing counseling agency committed to resolving housing issues for low-income individuals and people enrolled in subsidized housing programs. It provides counseling and legal services in several issue areas, including landlord/tenant issues, mortgage issues, fair housing issues, and home ownership issues. In addition to the San Jose location above, Project Sentinel’s other locations include Redwood City, Modesto, Fremont, Gilroy, and a nearby Santa Clara location found here:
