Terms of Service (Bill Whittle)

This Bill Whittle video (about 15 minutes) addresses the issue of the mistake a lot of people (including him and a host of other conservatives) made when, back around 2004-2007 made a wholesale switch to FaceBook and YouTube.

And they, like millions of us, clicked on the "Agree" button in the Terms of Service, never realizing how it would be leveraged by them.

In this video, he discusses how, at least in an enjoyable mental exercise, it would be satisfying, entertaining, and educational (to Leftists) if we were to turn the tables on them, and in a legal-ese ju-jitsu, legally use their tyrannical "Terms of Agreement" against them.

In other words, using a fig leaf of legality (the way they have to de-platform people they disagree with) called "Terms of Service" that people would have to sign before we render services to them.

I have no idea if it would even be valid, but...it is not only an interesting and fun exercise, how would it be any different than what FaceBook, Google, YouTube, and Twitter have done?

I am interested in hearing what people think of the concept.

I used to enjoy reading his EjectEjectEject blog. Sadly now he only seems to make videos hosted by youtube.

I always read terms of service.

I always thought they were a huge problem.

I could not find any supplier who did not have objectionable terms of service.

Agreed. But I think that will change soon.
