An El Monte church that was threatened this month with an arson attack over its extremist views and condemnation of same-sex marriage was damaged early Saturday, Jan. 23, when someone threw a bomb at the building, blowing out windows.
No one was injured in the explosion, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said. The First Works Baptist Church at 2600 Tyler Ave. was also vandalized, the El Monte Police Department said.
The FBI is investigating the attack, which it said involved “an IED,” or a homemade or “improvised” explosive device.
The church, a target of recent protests, has asserted that the government should execute gay people, San Bernardino hate-speech expert Brian Levin said Saturday.
Go figure.
So - they're supposed to bomb us until we change our beliefs? That'll work.

At least it wasn’t a hate crime since it was directed toward those holding traditional, Biblical beliefs. Whew!!
Well, it’s a wonder the Gays aren’t fire bombing every Mosque in the US, considering Islam demands that gays be executed. But.........They know the Muslims will retaliate and Christians won’t. So they go after the people who are already silenced by the Media and the Extremist Leftists

I suspect that you are correct and this is a classic case of, “Well, you may not have actually said it but that is what you meant.” Then again, even here on FR we have posts in which the grammar is so bad that the post actually does say exactly the opposite of what the writer intended, sometimes it is obvious, sometimes not so obvious.
Well, it does say the church’s view is to execute homosexuals, but no quote from the church itself, so who knows if that’s true.
The LGBT activists want El Monte to be full Monty.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a nonprofit advocacy organization specializing in civil rights litigation, lists the church as an anti-LBGTQ group on its watch list.
The church is involved with a network of anti-LGBT churches that used a “Make America Straight Again” conference “to move beyond its stock fallacies and hate-filled rhetoric and call for the government to begin rounding up and executing homosexuals,” the SPLC said on its website in 2019.
