John McCain’s widow was censured by Arizona state Republicans for failing to support President Trump — and she took it in stride.
“It is a high honor to be included in a group of Arizonans who have served our state and our nation so well … and who, like my late husband John, have been censured by the AZGOP. I’ll wear this as a badge of honor,” Cindy McCain tweeted Saturday evening.

Why did they do her this favor?
This is like a badge of honour for her friends. If they wanted to punish her sheep they should have given her some kind of award or honor.

This seems to make little sense.
Why would the state GOP censure her? Does she hold some appointed or elected office, or receive a stipend or compensation from the state GOP for work she does?
If not, who the hell cares what a private citizen does? Seems to be a useless gesture.
Maybe the state GOP can work on doing more meaningful tasks - like getting out the vote.

No doubt she sold her soul. Countless people in power have. Their agenda and “morality” is not ours.
The GOP actually voted to censure her. She’s just blowing it off. Now the question is whether the party will do anything about it in response.
Probably not.
They should kick her out, but I don’t think that ever happens. She’s thumbing her nose at the GOP because she knows they have very weak leadership and supposed party members can get away with anything they want without being called to account.
