With the second bogus impeachment in the books, the Washington Post has finally seen fit to admit that President Trump did not incite the storming of the U.S. Capitol on January 6 with his speech, acknowledging that it was, in fact, planned in advance.
The article, published Tuesday, the day before Biden’s inauguration, declares in its headline “Self-styled militia members planned on storming the U.S. Capitol days in advance of Jan. 6 attack, court documents say” and opens with the following paragraphs.

They won’t factcheck anyone who claims that it was Trump telling them to go storm the place and cause havok.
It would not have changed a thing if they had published earlier.

Our enemies won. They got rid of Trump. Now they will lighten up on the attacks. I doubt very seriously that Pelosi will even deliver this latest round of impeachment proceedings to the Senate.
All the focus now is on Joe Biden. And he will be attacked by the media until he leaves office and Harris becomes president.

then I expect some energetic lawmaker to rush into the House tomorrow waving the WaPo and demanding that the impeachment be withrawn and Pelosi censored for abuse of office.

The reaction to the incident in congress doesn’t speak highly of either the courage or wisdom of our elected representatives. They were more like craven cowards having an emotional reaction based on fear and hatred than reasoned and rational lawmakers.
Must be trying to put the brakes on...Til now, all they have done was push, push, push, whipping the low info crowd into a lather.
Someone must have figured it out. i.e. That getting 75,000,000 Trump supporters riled up wasn’t gonna help.
The problem is that Biden wants to sic government agencies and new federal laws against the "significant threat" of "domestic terrorism" i.e. Reichstag Fire 2, and of course the Ministry of Propaganda and friends have been beating the drum for those goals for a long time.
